Abstract
Kompetensi profesional guru adalah seperangkat pengetahuan, ketrampilan dan perilaku yang harus dimiliki, dihayati dan dikuasai oleh guru dalam menjalankan tugas keprofesionalan. Kinerja pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan khusunya guru, selain ditentukan oleh kualifikasi akademik dan juga kompetensi juga ditentukan oleh kesejahteraan, karena kesejahteraan yang memadai akan memberi motivasi kepada guru agar melakukan tugas profesionalnya secara sungguh-sungguh.
Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Bagaimana perencanaan peningkatan kompetensi profesional tenaga pendidik Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Melayu Muara Teweh, (2) Bagaimana pelaksanaan peningkatan kompetensi profesional tenaga pendidik Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Melayu Muara Teweh.
Tujuannya (1) Mendiskripsikan perencanaan peningkatan kompetensi profesional tenaga pendidik Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Melayu Muara Teweh, (2) Mendiskripsikan pelaksanaan peningkatan kompetensi profesional tenaga pendidik Madrasah Ibtidaiya Negeri Melayu Muara Teweh.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah kepala madrasah (sebagai key informan), wakil kepala madrasah, guru, dan tata usaha. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisa data penelitian dilakukan melalui langkah-langkah : (1) mengumpulkan data, (2) mereduksi data, (3) pemaparan data, dan (4) penarikan kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan peningkatan kompetensi profesional tenaga pendidik di MIN Melayu Muara Teweh dilakukan dengan: Langkah-langkah perencanaan sinoptik, meliputi a) pengenalan masalah b) mengestimesi ruang lingkup problem c) mengklasifikasi kemungkinan penyelesaian d) menginvestigasi problem e) memprediksi alternatif f) mengevaluasi kemajuan atas penyelesaian yang spesifik. (2) Pelaksanaan peningkatan kompetensi tenaga pendidik Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Melayu Muara Teweh dilakukan dengan a) Mendorong studi lanjut, b) Pendidikan dan Pelatihan, c) Melalui pelatihan berbasis teknologi informasi, d) Melaui Kelompok Kerja Guru, e) Pelatihan Kurikulum 2013 dan f) Melakukan studi banding ke MIN Malang Jawa Timur. Evaluasi di dilakukan oleh kepala Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Melayu Muara Teweh dengan mengadakan kontrol, memantau perkembangan dan peningkatan kompetensi tenaga prndidik yang telah mengikuti pendidikan dan pelatihan secara berkala dan mengadakan evaluasi pada setiap program kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan di MIN Melayu Muara Teweh.
ABSTRACT
Teacher professional competence is a set of knowledge, skills and behavior that must be owned, experienced and mastered by teachers in carrying out professional duties. The performance of educators and education personnel, especially teachers, is determined by academic qualifications as well as the competence is also determined by the welfare, because adequate welfare will motivate the teachers to perform professional duties in earnest.
The problems in this research are: (1) How to plan the improvement of professional competence of educators of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Melayu Muara Teweh, (2) How is the implementation of the improvement of professional competence of educators of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Melayu Muara Teweh.
The objectives are: (1) To describe the planning of the improvement of professional competence of educators of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Melayu Muara Teweh, (2) To describe the implementation of the improvement of professional competence of the educators of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Melayu Muara Teweh.
This research used descriptive qualitative method. The data sources of this research are head of madrasah (as key informant), vice principal of madrasah, teachers, and administration. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of research data is done through the steps: (1) collecting data, (2) reducing data, (3) data exposure, and (4) conclusion.
The results of the research showed that: (1) Planning of professional competency improvement of educator at MIN Melayu of Muara Teweh is done by: Synoptic planning steps, covering a) introduction of problem b) estimating scope of problem c) classifying possible settlement d) investigating problem e) predict alternative f) evaluate progress on specific settlements. (2) The implementation of the improvement of competence of educators of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Melayu of Muara Teweh is done by: a) encourage further study, b) Education and Training, c) Through information technology-based training, d) Through the Teacher Working Group, e) Curriculum Training 2013 and f) Encourage further study Conducted a comparative study to MIN Malang East Java. The evaluation was conducted by the head of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Melayu Muara Teweh by conducting control, monitoring the development and improvement of the competence of the education personnel who have followed the education and training periodically and conducted evaluation on every activity program that has been done in MIN Melayu of Muara Teweh.
