Abstract

Kantong semar (Nepenthes sp.) merupakan tumbuhan dengan bentuk unik baik dari corak warna, bentuk kantong dan kemapuan dalam menangkap serangga. Kantong semar (Nepenthes sp.) merupakan salah satu tanaman yang dilindungi berdasarkan Undang-Undang No. 5 tahun 1990 tentang Konservasi Sumberdaya Hayati dan Ekosistemnya serta Peraturan Pemerintah No. 7/1999 tentang Pengawetan Jenis Tumbuhan dan Satwa. Taman Nasional Sebangau Resort Habaring Hurung merupakan salah satu perwakilan ekosistem rawa gambut dan merupakan salah satu habitat beberapa jenis kantong semar (Nepenthes sp.).

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis dan tingkat keanekaragaman kantong semar (Nepenthes sp.) dan serangga yang terjebak di dalamnya yang terdapat di Taman Nasional Sebangau Resort Habaring Hurung serta untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat keanekaragaman jenis kantong semar (Nepenthes sp.) dan serangga yang terjebak di dalamnya pada hutan terbuka dan hutan tertutup di Taman Nasional Sebangau Resort Habaring Hurung.Jenis penelitian yang dilaksanakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan teknik Purposive sampling.

Hasil penelitian jumlah kantong semar (Nepenthes sp.) yang diperoleh di hutan terbuka sebanyak 3 jenis yang terdiri dari Nepenthes mirabilis, Nepenthes rafflesiana dan Nepenthes gracilis dengan serangga yang terjebak di dalamnya terdiri dari 2 ordo yaitu ordo Diptera dan ordo Hymenoptera. Sedangkan jumlah kantong semar (Nepenthes sp.) yang diperoleh di hutan tertutup sebanyak 2 jenis yang terdiri dari Nepenthes ampullaria dan Nepenthes rafflesiana dengan serangga yang terjebak di dalamnya terdiri dari 2 ordo yaitu ordo Diptera dan ordo Hymenoptera. Hasil perhitungan analisis indeks keanekaragaman jenis kantong semar (Nepenthes sp.) di hutan terbuka dan hutan tertutup menunjukkan kategori rendah. Keanekaragaman berturut-turut adalah 1 dengan kriteria 1 < H’ < 3: keanekaragaman sedang dan 0,45 dengan kriteria H’<1: keanekaragaman rendah. Hasil perhitungan analisis indeks keanekaragaman jenis serangga yang terjebak di dalam kantong semar (Nepenthes sp.) yang diperoleh di hutan terbuka dan hutan tertutup menunjukkan kategori rendah. Keanekaragaman berturut-turut adalah dan 0,63 dan 0,52 dengan kriteria H’ < 1: keanekaragaman rendah.

ABSTRACT

Pitcher plants (Nepenthes sp.) is a plant with unique shape either of shades of colors, pouch shape and its capability in catching insects. Pitcher plants (Nepenthes sp.) is one of the plants that protected under Law Number. 5 of 1990 about Conservation of Biological Resources and Ecosystem and Government Regulation Number 7/1999 about Preservation of Plants and Animals. Sebangau National Park Habaring Hurung Resort is one representative of peat swamp ecosystem and one of some types of pither plants (Nepenthes sp.) habitat.

This study aims to determine the types and diversity levels of pitcher plants (Nepenthes sp.) and the trapped insects inside in Sebangau National Park Habaring Hurung Resort and to determine the difference diversity levels of pitcher plants (Nepenthes sp.) and the trapped insects inside in the open and closed forest in Sebangau National Park Habaring Hurung Resort. The research type conducted is descriptive qualitative research. The method used is survey method with purpossive sampling technique.

The result of the study the number of pitcher plants (Nepenthes sp.) obtained in open forest are three types consist of Nepenthes mirabilis, Nepenthes rafflesiana and Nepenthes gracilis with the insects trapped inside consist of 2 ordos, Diptera ordo and Hymenoptera ordo. While the number of pitcher plants (Nepenthes sp.) obtained in closed forest as many as two types consist of Nepenthes ampullaria, and Nepenthes rafflesiana with the insects trapped inside consist of 2 ordos, Diptera ordo and Hymenoptera ordo. The results of the analysis calculation pitcher plants (Nepenthes sp.) species diversity index in open and closed forest showed low category. The diversity in a row is 1 with 1 < H’ < 3: medium diversity and 0,45 with H’ criteria < 1: low diversity. The diversity in a row is 0,63 and 0,51 with the criteria of H’ < 1: low diversity.
