Cross-cultural leadership is the ability of a person (the leader) to influence and mitivate group members of different cultures. Cross-cultural leadership emphasize the impact of cultural on power leader, the personalcharacteristic. Cultural and cross-cultural contribution to improving the effectiveness of educational leadership. In addition, cultural diversity often creates chaos, if well managed and supported by the right leadership, will be a force.
Transformational leader will motivate personnel in order to fully realize their potential. But to succed in intercurtural issues, tranformational leader must be a team player as well, and he prepared to influenced by, and learn from members of other organizations. This means that the principal transformational main role is to transform the potential of the institutional school, teachers, school committees, students and administrative staf into a force (energy) that is focused on achieving the desired goal. Another power that needs to be owned by the principal is negotiating power, ie the ability aof principals to build unity within the group in the school and move towards the same goal in togetherness. Another power is also very important for the principal’s ability to communicate and communicate various things about the school such as the implementation of the vision, mission, onjectives, strategies / approaches, targets, indicators and other so on.
Intelligent leadership culture has three aspects of managing the group environment (environmental management group), development of culturally diverse groups (the development of a culturally diverse) and developing cultural intelligence in the group (in the group develop cultural intelligence).
