Abstract

Materi Sejarah Nabi Muhammad SAW dianggap sulit oleh siswa karena banyak menyajikan alur cerita, tokoh, waktu, dan tempat dimasa lampau yang sulit untuk diingat. Sehingga dianggap sebagai hal yang hanya dapat dibayangkan siswa saja. Penggunaan media pembelajaran melalui video diharapkan mampu membantu mengatasi kesulitan tersebut. Siswa-siswi kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Seruyan Hilir Timur menyukai pembelajaran menggunakan media yang dapat dilihat dan didengar seperti media video. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan (1) Mendeskripsikan pengembangan media video pada Materi Sejarah Nabi Muhammad SAW. (2) Mendeskripsikan kelayakan media video pada Materi Sejarah Nabi Muhammad SAW.

Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian dan pengembangan atau dikenal Research and Development (R&D). Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Model ADDIE. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan angket. Angket diberikan kepada ahli media, ahli materi sebagai validator, uji coba produk dilakukan dengan peserta didik kelas VII. Pengembangan dalam penelitian menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdapat lima tahapan yaitu analysis (analisis), design (desain), development (pengembangan), implementation (implementasi) dan evaluation (evaluasi).
Hasil penelitian pada validasi media pertama mendapatkan skor 36 dengan jumlah skor maksimal 52 presentasi kelayakan termasuk kategori baik dengan presentase 69,23% dan validasi ahli media kedua mendapatkan skor 43 dengan jumlah skor maksimal 52 termasuk kategori Sangat baik dengan presentase kelayakan 82,69%. Hasil validasi ahli materi dengan skor 41 dengan jumlah skor maksimal 44 termasuk kategori sangat baik dengan presentase kelayakan 93,18%. Setelah selesai proses validasi selanjutnya dilakukan tahap uji coba produk. Uji coba perorangan dengan presentase kelayakan 80,13% berada pada kategori sangat baik. Uji coba kelompok kecil dengan presentase kelayakan 91,35% berada pada kategori sangat baik dan layak untuk digunakan.

ABSTRACT

The history of the Prophet Muhammad SAW is considered difficult by students because it presents a lot of storylines, characters, times, and places in the past that are difficult to remember. So it is considered as something that can only be imagined by students. The use of learning media through video is expected to be able to help overcome these difficulties. Class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Seruyan Hilir Timur like learning using media that can be seen and heard such as video media. This research was conducted with the aim of (1) describing the development of video media on the History of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. (2) Describe the feasibility of video media on the History of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.

This research belongs to the type of development research or known as Research and Development (R&D). The model used in this study is the ADDIE Model. Data collection techniques and instruments are observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Questionnaires were given to media experts, material experts as validators, product trials were carried out with class VII students. The development in this research uses the ADDIE model which has five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.

The results of the research on the first media validation got a score of 36 with a maximum score of 52 presentations of eligibility including the good category with a percentage of 69.23% and the second media expert validation got a score of 43 with a maximum score of 52 including the very good category with a feasibility percentage of 82.69%. The results of the material expert validation obtained a score of 41 with a maximum total score of 44 including the very good category with a feasibility percentage of 93.18%. After completing the validation process, the next stage of product testing is carried out. Individual trials with a feasibility percentage of 80.13% are in the very good category. The small group trial with a feasibility percentage of 91.35% is in the very good category and is feasible to use.
