Abstract

Perkembangan kognitif merupakan perkembangan pikiran, pikiran merupakan bagian dari proses berpikirnya otak yang digunakan untuk pemahaman, penalaran, pengetahuan, dan pengertian. bicara tentang anak usia dini, pikiran anak mulai berkembang sejak anak lahir. Setiap hari dalam kehidupannya anak mengalami perkembangan pikiran, seperti belajar mengenal orang, mengenal sesuatu dan belajar tentang kemampuan-kemampuan baru. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan tentang: 1)Perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini usia 5-6 tahun di TK Mekar Sari Muara Tuhup, 2)Perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui permainan tebak gambar di TK Mekar Sari.

Penelitian ini mengunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian meliputi sumber data primer yaitu: guru kelas, guru pendamping, anak-anak TK Mekar Sari usia 5-6 tahun kelas B 1. Adapun sumber data sekunder yaitu: Kepala Sekolah TK Mekar Sari dan data dokumen berupa: RPPH, RPPM, lembar penilaian perkembangan kognitif anak dalam permainan tebak gambar, foto-foto kegiatan pada saat melakukan permainan tebak gambar. Selanjutnya teknik pengumpulan data melalui: wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: 1) Perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini usia 5-6 tahun dalam memecahkan masalah, berpikir logis dan berpikir simbolik terdapat 13 orang anak dengan hasil capaian yaitu: 5 Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH) dan ada 3 anak yang Belum Berkembang ( BB), 3 anak Mulai Berkembang (MB), 2 anak Berkembang Sangat Baik ( BSB). 2) Permainan tebak Gambar untuk mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif anak di TK Mekar Sari Muara Tuhup terdapat Melalui permainan tebak gambar anak mampu mengenalkan huruf-huruf ABCD anak mampu membedakan bentuk ukuran yang paling besar dan paling kecil kemampuan dan pengetahuan anak tentang permainan tebak gambar.Serta ada 5 orang anak yang Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB) dan ada 3 orang anak yang Mulai Berkembang (MB) 2 Belum Berkembang ( BB) 3 Berkembang Sesuai Harapan ( BSH) dari 13 orang anak tersebut.

ABSTRACT

Cognitive development is a thought development, and thought is part of the thinking process that is used for comprehension, reasoning, knowledge, and understanding. Speak about early childhood; their thoughts start to develop when they are born. Every single day in their life happens through development, like learning to recognize other people, something and learning about new skills. The research objectives are to describe 1) The 5-6-year-old children's cognitive development at TK Mekar Sari Muara Tuhup and 2) The 5-6-year-old children's cognitive development through guessing the picture games at TK Mekar Sari Muara Tuhup.

This research was used qualitatively. The primary data sources were the class teacher, the assistant teacher, and then 5-6-year old children of the TK Mekar Sari B1 class. Next, the secondary data sources were the Principal of TK Mekar Sari and documents like RPPH, RPPM, and assessment sheets of children's cognitive development through guessing the picture games and pictures in activity while guessing the picture games. Then data collection techniques were interviews, observations and documentation.

The results showed that 1) There are thirteen 5-6-year children with cognitive development in problem-solving, logic thinking, and symbolic thinking consisting of five children develop as expected (BSH) and three children did not develop yet (BB), three children starting to develop (MB) and two children develop very well (BSB). 2) Guessing the picture games at TK Mekar Sari Muara Tuhup was able to develop children's cognitive like introducing the letter, children also able to differentiate between the biggest and smallest size. And five children developed very well(BSB), and there are three children who are starting to developed (MB), two developed ( BB) three Develop As Expected ( BSH) from thirteen.
