Abstract

Program studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu keguruan (FTIK) IAIN Palangka Raya mempunyai visi menjadi Prodi PGMI yang terdepan dalam mewujudkan guru kelas MI/SD yang Profesional, Kompetitif, berkarakter islami, dan unggul dalam bidang pengembangan pembelajaran ditingkat nasional pada tahun 2025. Tercapainya visi ini tentunya harus diuji, di antaranya dengan melihat kiprah alumninya. Keberhasilan FTIK IAIN Palangka Raya salah satunya terletak pada aspek relevansi lulusan. Alumni PGMI FTIK IAIN Palangka Raya dituntut mampu memiliki daya saing dan siap berkiprah secara profesional dalam dunia kerja.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil lulusan program studi S1 PGMI lulusan tahun 2019-2020 dan bidang kerja apa saja yang dijalani oleh lulusan program studi S1 PGMI lulusan tahun 2019-2020.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan persentase kemudian disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan dideskripsikan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah, Palangka Raya. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah lulusan program studi S1 PGMI lulusan tahun 2019-2020 sebanyak 23 sampel yang telah mengisi kuesioner secara online menggunakan angket Tracer Study milik LPM IAIN Palangka Raya dikeluarkan oleh Mikwa Institut dan telah valid sesuai aturan bagian pembelajaran dan kemahasiswaan (Belmawa) yang disahkan oleh PD Dikti.

Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Profil lulusan PGMI lulusan tahun 2019-2022 sebanyak 60,87% lulusan sudah mendapatkan pekerjaan setelah lulus, 17,39% mendapatkan pekerjaan sebelum lulus, sedangkan 21,74% belum mendapatkan pekerjaan. Masa tunggu lulusan dalam mencari pekerjaan relatif baik karena memiliki masa tunggu kurang dari 3 bulan sebanyak 34,78%, selama 3-6 bulan sebanyak 13,04% dan 13.04% masa tunggu selama 6-12 bulan. Bidang kerja yang dijalanani oleh lulusan program studi S1 PGMI lulusan 2019-2022 berdasarkan hasil penelitian menyatakaan bahwa 52,17% lulusan bekerja di Intansi pemerintahan, 13,04% perusahaan swasta, 4,35% organisasi non profit, 8,70% wirausaha/ perusahan sendiri, 21,74% belum bekerja. Bidang pekerjaan yang ditekuni adalah 30,43% guru SD/MI, 21,74% administrasi pemerintahan, 4,35% industri makanan, 4,35% jasa penunjang angkutan, 17,39% bekerja pada bidang lainnya.

ABSTRACT

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI) Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Science (FTIK) IAIN Palangka Raya has a vision to be the leading PGMI Study Program in realizing MI/SD class teachers who are Professional, Competitive, with Islamic character, and excel in the field of learning development at the national level in 2025. The achievement of this vision must of course be tested, including by looking at the progress of its alumni. One of the successes of FTIK IAIN Palangka Raya lies in the aspect of the relevance of graduates. Alumni of PGMI FTIK IAIN Palangka Raya are required to be competitive and ready to take part professionally in the world of work.

This research aims to find out the profile of graduates of the PGMI undergraduate study program graduates in 2019-2020 and what fields of work are undertaken by graduates of the PGMI undergraduate study program graduates in 2019-2020.

This research uses survey methods with a quantitative approach and is analyzed descriptively with a percentage then presented in the form of tables and described. This research was carried out in Central Kalimantan Province, Palangka Raya.Respondents in this study were graduates of the PGMI undergraduate study program graduated from 2019-2020 as many as 23 samples who had filled out questionnaires online using the Tracer Study questionnaire owned by LPM IAIN Palangka Raya issued by the Mikwa Institut and have been valid in accordance with the rules of the learning and student affairs section (Belmawa) authorized by PD Dikti.
The results showed that the profile of PGMI graduates in 2019-2022 as many as 60,87% of graduates have found work after graduation, 17,39% get a job before graduation, while 21,74% have not found a job. The waiting period for graduates in finding work is relatively good because it has a waiting period of less than 3 months as much as 34.78%, for 3-6 months as much as 13,04% and 13,04% waiting period for 6-12 months. The field of work carried out by graduates of the PGMI undergraduate study program graduated from 2019-2022 based on the results of research said that 52,17% of graduates work in government institutions, 13,04% private companies, 4,35% non-profit organizations, 8,70% entrepreneurs/own companies, 21,74% have not worked. The fields of work pursued are 30,43% of elementary / MI teachers, 21,74% of government administration, 4,35% of the food industry, 4,35% of transportation support services, 17,39% working in other fields.
