Abstract
Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mengkaji 1) Bagaimana mekanisme klaim asuransi nasabah pada pembiayaan produktif di Bank Syariah Indonesia Kantor Cabang di Kota Palangka Raya , 2) Apa saja kendala nasabah dalam melakuan klaim asuransi pada pembiayaan produktif di Bank Syariah Indonesia Kantor Cabang di Kota Palangka Raya 1.
Adapun penelitian ini dilakukan di Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Kota Palangka Raya 1 dengan subjek penelitiannya yaitu dari Consumer Business Staff (CBS), sedangkan objeknya yaitumekanisme klaim asuransi pada nasabah pembiayaan bank pada Bank Syariah Indonesia kantor cabang di Kota Palangka Raya 1. Sedangkan subjek penelitian diambil dari Nasabah Pembiayaan Asuransi dan Staf Bank Syariah Indonesia kantor cabang di Kota Palangka Raya 1. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif deskriptif dan jenisnya yaitu field research atau penelitian lapangan, metode pengumpulan datanya yaitu melakukan observasi langsung ke Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Kota Palangka Raya 1, kemudian peneliti mengumpulkan data sebanyak-banyaknya terkait pelaksanaan pengajuan klaim asuransi nasabah di Bank Syariah Indonesia KC 1 Kota Palangka Raya dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.
Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan ketentuan polis asuransi jumlah bahwasanya proses pengajuan klaim terdapat beberapa kendala namun kendala tersebut tidak terlalu serius. Kendala-kendala dalam pengajuan klaim asuansi bagi pihak ahli waris yang mana tertanggung mengalami risiko meninggal dunia pada saat pembiayaan produktif, dari tertanggung dapat berupa; kurangnya pengetahuan ahli waris akan pentingnya jaminan asuransi, kurang lengkapnya data-data atau dokumen pengajuan oleh pihak tertanggung yang diajukan kepada pihak penanggung sehingga mengalami sedikit keterlamban untuk diproses dan dibayarkan kepada pihak ahli waris. Pertanggung jawaban pihak bank terhadap klaim yang mengalami kendala, untuk kendala yang dihadapi hampir sama yaitu terletak pada miss komunikasi antara nasabah dan pihak bank dan juga kurang kooperatifnya nasabah yang dimaksudkan pada saat klaim perusahaan asuransi sudah menentukan deadline pengumpulan berkas sedangkan dari nasabah belum ada konfirmasi untuk pengajuan berkas. Disini pihak BSI KC 1 Kota Palangka Raya dinilai sangat sigap untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut.
ABSTRACT
This study seeks to examine 1) How is the mechanism of customer insurance claims on productive financing at Bank Syariah Indonesia Branch Office in Palangka Raya City1, 2) What are the customer obstacles in making insurance claims on productive financing at Bank Syariah Indonesia Branch Office in Palangka Raya City 1
This research was conducted at Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Palangka Raya City 1 with the research subject being the Consumer Business Staff (CBS), while the object was the mechanism of insurance claims on bank financing customers at Bank Syariah Indonesia branch office in Palangka Raya City 1. While the research subjects were taken from Insurance Financing Customers and Staff of Bank Syariah Indonesia branch in Palangka Raya City 1. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with descriptive qualitative methods and the type is field research or field research, the data collection method is to make direct observations to Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Palangka Raya City 1, then researchers collect as much data as possible related to the implementation of claim submissions. customer insurance at Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Palangka Raya City 1 with observations, interviews and documentation.
The findings of this study indicate that the process of submitting and implementing claims payments at BSI KC Palangka Raya City 1. However, back again with which insurance company the bank cooperates with, and whether the heirs do not violate the claims rules provided by both the bank and the insurance company. Constraints in submitting insurance claims for heirs in which the insured experiences the risk of death during productive financing, from the insured can be in the form of; lack of knowledge of the heirs about the importance of insurance coverage, incomplete data or submission documents by the insured party submitted to the insurer so that they experience a bit of delay to be processed and paid to the heirs. The responsibility of the bank for claims that are experiencing problems, for the obstacles faced are almost the same, which lies in the miscommunication between the customer and the bank and also the lack of cooperativeness of the customer, which is intended when the insurance company claims has determined the deadline for file collection, while from the customer there has been no confirmation for file submission. Here the BSI KC Palangka Raya City 1 is considered very swift to overcome this problem.
