Abstract

Manusia dalam kehidupannya tidak terlepas dari aturan dan norma yang berlaku, baik di masyarakat dan lingkungan tempat ia tinggal lainnya. Aturan mengharuskan setiap individu taat dan patuh. Konsekuensi dari pelanggaran yang dilakukan akan mendapat hukuman sesuai peraturan yang berlaku. Begitupun sekolah sebagai tempat pendidikan formal memiliki aturan agar membatasi perilaku yang tidak diinginkan. Penelitian ini didasari pengamatan peneliti yang mengamati bahwa tingginya hukuman yang dilakukan di MTs. Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya. Berangkat dari permasalahan tersebut maka peneliti ingin meneliti masalah tersebut. Beberapa dari Permasalahan yang akan diteliti adalah (1) Bagaimana hukuman yang ada di MTs. Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya? (2) Bagaimana kedisiplinan siswayang ada di MTs. Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya? (3) Apakah ada pengaruh antara hukuman dan disiplin siswa yang ada di MTs. Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya?

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian yang bersifat korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 20%siswa dari 252 siswa yang ada di MTs. Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya. Langkah pengolahan data yaitu Editing, Coding, Tabularing, dan Analizing. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik Angket, dan Dokumentasi. Kemudian uji hipotesis dengan korelasi product moment.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Hukuman di MTs. Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya ada hukuman fisik dan non fisik. Hukuman fisik seperti lari, push up, dijemur berdiri didepan kelas, dan lain-lain. Sementara hukuman nonfisik seperti, hafalan, menulis, sindiran serta teguran. Berdasarkan data yang telah diolah hukuman berada pada kategori tinggi, dengan hasil rubrik penilaian berada pada rata-rata 3,11. (2) Disipin siswa di MTs. Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya termasuk dalam kategori baik, baik dalam disiplin waktu dan disipin tata tertib dan lainnya. Pada hasil penelitian disiplin berada dalam kualifikasi tinggi dengan hasil rubik penilaian berada pada rata-rata 3,36. (3) Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan product moment, bahwa variabel X (Hukuman) dan variabel Y (Disiplin) terdapat pengaruh tetapi dalam kategori sedang atau cukupan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari perolehan rxy = 0,485 yang berada pada interpretasi 0,40-0,70. Berarti nilai r hitung = 0,485 lebih besar dari ttabel baik pada taraf signifikan 5% (0,273) maupun pada taraf signifikan 1% (0,354). Jadi, hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan Hipotesis Nihil (H0) di tolak.Namun demikian pengaruh hukuman di MTs. Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya yang cukup tersebu ttidak berdampak positif pada kedisiplinan siswa. Hal ini karena antara rubik pengamatan kedisiplinan dan hukuman masih memperoleh nilai rata-rata yang sama tinggi. Dimana disiplin memperoleh rata-rata 3,36 dan hukuman memperoleh niali 3,11. Jadi, walau disiplinnya tinggi tetapi tidak diimbangi dengan menurunnya jumlah hukuman. Dan berarti hukuman tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap kedisiplinan siswa di MTs. Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya.

ABSTRACT

A human being of his life is inseparable from the rules and norms that apply in both the society and the environment of the place he lives another. The rules require that each individual is obedient and submissive. The consequences of the violations committed will receive punishment according regulations. As well as the school as a place of formal education have rules in order to limit the unwanted behavior. The study was based on observations of the researchers observed that the high penalty in MTS. Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya. Depart from these problems then the researchers like to researchers the issue. Some of the Issues that will be examined are (1) How the existing penalty in MTS. Hidayatu lInsan Palangka Raya? (2) how to discipline students who are in MTS. Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya? (3) is there any influence between punishment and discipline students who are in MTS. Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya?

This research using quantitative methods to the type of research that is corelasionality. The population in this study is 20% students of 252 students that are in the MTS. HidayatulInsanPalangka Raya. Data processing step i.e. Editing, Coding, Tabularing, and Analizing. Now using the techniques of data collection, and documentation. Then test the hypothesis with the product moment correlation.

The results showed that (1) the penalties in MTS. Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya there are physical and non physical punishments. Physical punishment such as running, push ups, drying stand in front of the class, and others. While a nonphysical punishments such as, memorizing, allusive, and reprimand menuis. Based on the data that has been processed to punishment are at a high category, with the results of the assessment rubrics are on average 3.11. (2) Disciplin students in MTS. Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya is included in the category of good, both in the discipline of time and disciplin of conduct and others. On the results of research disciplines are in high qualification with the results of the assessment are on rubik's average 3.36. (3) based on the results of the calculation of the product moment, that the variable X (a punishment) and the variable Y (Discipline) there is an influence but in the category of medium or enaugh. It can be seen from the acquisition of rxy = 0.485 residing on the interpretation of 0.40-0.70. Mean value of r = 0.485 count greater than ttabel either on a significant level of 5% (0.273) as well as on significant levels of 1% (0,354). So, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) received and the zero Hypothesis (H0) in decline. Nevertheless the influence of penalty in MTS. Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya were not enough positive impact on the discipline of students. This is because between discipline and punishment observations rubik still earns an average rating of the same height. Where the discipline gained average 3.36 and punishment gained niali 3.11. Thus, while disciplin high but not offset by the decrease in the amount of the penalty. And means of punishment has no effect against the positive discipline students in MTS. Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya.
