Abstract

Pariwisata adalah salah satu jenis industry baru yang mapu menghasilkan pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan cepat dalam menyediakan lapangan kerja, peningkatan penghasilanl, standar hidup serta menstimulasi sector-sektor produktivitas lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kunjungan objek wisata air terjun tosah berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan masyarakat. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengaruh kunjungan objek wisata air terjun tosah terhadap pendapatan masyarakat puruk cahu kabupaten murung raya.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Dengan jenis penelitian ex post facto. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 90 orang dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang di gunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis linear sederhana. Berdasarkan uji t di peroleh hasil kunjungan wisata berpengaruh positif signifikant terhadap pendapatan masyarakat yang artinya semakin meningkatkan jumlah pengunjung maka semakin meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. Dari uji koefisien determinasi menunjukan bahwa kunjungan wisata berpengaruh sebesar 75,7% terhadap pendapatan masyarakat sekitar objek wisata air terjun.

ABSTRACT

Tourism is a new type of industry that can generate rapid economic growth by providing employment, increasing incomes, and living standards, and stimulating other productivity sectors. This study aims to determine whether visiting the Torah waterfall tourist attraction affects people's income. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the influence of visiting the Torah waterfall tourist attraction on the income of the people of Park Cahu, Murung Raya Regency.

This study uses a quantitative approach. With the type of research, ex posts facto. Methods of data collection in this study using observation, questionnaires, and documentation. While the sample in this study amounted to 90 people using the total sampling technique. While the data analysis technique used in this research is simple linear analysis. Based on the t-test, the results of tourist visits have a significant positive effect on people's income, which means that the more the number of visitors, the more people's income. From the coefficient of determination test, it shows that tourist visits have an effect of 75,7% on the income of the community around the waterfall tourist attraction
