Abstract

The participation of the people of Jaya Kelapa Village in village development is indicated to be relatively high and is thought to be related to the effectiveness of village development. This study aims to 1. Determine community participation in village development in Jaya Kelapa Village? 2. Knowing the effectiveness of village development in Jaya Kelapa Village? 3. Knowing the correlation between community participation and the effectiveness of village development in Jaya Kelapa Village? This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The method of data collection is through the distribution of questionnaires with the technique of Non-Probability Sampling. Based on the results of data processing and analysis using Microsoft Excel 2016 and IBM SPSS Statistic 26, obtained 1. The average community
participation in village development is 62% or high classification. 2. The average effectiveness of village development is found to be 76% or high classification. 3. There is a significant correlation between community participation and village development effectiveness and indicates that the correlation between community participation and village development effectiveness is statistically significant, showing a p-value of 0.000 and a Correlation Coefficient of 0.848 in the high category.
