Abstract

This study aims to describe the pronunciation problems in children aged 5-6 years in Islamic Kindergarten Nahdatul Ulama Palangka Raya. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, with the research subjects of 2 children and 1 class teacher. using direct observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation then analyzed using data reduction stages of data presentation and drawing conclusions. the results of this study indicate that the lack of understanding of educators in recognizing children's language development from an early age so that children do not get the proper treatment related to articulation disorders experienced. Earlydetection of growth and development is a way to prevent the occurrence of these disorders. The way that educators can do is to always monitor children's language development and collaborate with experts in their fields such as psychologists or therapists. In
addition, teachers must also involve parents in every process of children's language development at school.
