Abstract

Adjustment to new students is very much needed considering that every day students communicate either directly or indirectly to teachers, peers and the social environment where students attend school. From these findings, children who are easy to adjust to receive support and motivation from parents, peers and teachers, therefore
external support has succeeded in making them grow internally motivated to be able to overcome the adjustment problems they face. Therefore, it is necessary to see how the description of the adjustment of the new students of class X MA Hidayatul Insan Fii Ta'limiddin Palangka Raya City. This study used a qualitative method with six students as informants consisting of three male students and three female students. The success of students in adjustment can be overcome if students are able to adapt well academically and socially.
