Abstract

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini berfokus pada konsep wadi’ah dalam jasa parkir dan ekonomi para petugasnya dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidup dari profesi tersebut yang dilaksanakan di rumah sakit dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya. Konsep Islam dan etika bisnis Islam ternyata menjadi strategi yang diimplementasikan dalam bisnis ini, meskipun mayoritas yang menjadi petugas parkir disana bukan muslim. Konsep Islam yang diketahui digunakan dalam bisnis jasa penitipan ini adalah wadi’ah, dengan adanya konsep tersebut maka pelaksanaan bisnis jasa parkir dapat memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik.

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk konsep wadi’ah dalam jasa parkir dan ekonomi para petugasnya di rumah sakit dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya, yaitu: (1) untuk mengetahui konsep wadi’ah dalam jasa parkir di rumah sakit dr Doris Sylvanus kota Palangka Raya dan (2) untuk mengetahui ekonomi petugas parkirnya menurut ekonomi Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian study case. Data yang diperoleh berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan para petugas parkir dan pengawas petugas parkir yang ada di rumah sakit dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya. Adapun analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan.

Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa: (1) konsep wadi’ah dalam jasa parkir di rumah sakit dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya ialah titipan berpola yad amanah. Jasa ini mengikuti syari’at dan etika berbisnis dalam Islam. Baik dari segi tanggung jawab, menetapkan tarif parkir, dan juga melayani konsumennya. Kemudian (2) ekonomi petugas parkir di rumah sakit dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya diketahui mampu mencukupi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan primer dan sekunder. Serta dalam pengelompokan kesejahteraan keluarga, kebanyakan para petugas ini dapat digolongkan menjadi kelompok keluarga yang sejahtera dan hanya sebagian yang termasuk kelompok keluarga yang pra-sejahtera.

ABSTRACT

This study focuses on wadi’ah concept in parking service and the economy of the parking officers in fulfill the economic needs from their professions at the hospital of dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya. The concept of Islam and Islamic business ethics turned out to be a strategy that was implemented in this business, even though the majorities of which becomes a parking officer were not a Muslim. The concept of Islam was known to be used in this business deposit service is called wadi’ah, with the concept then the implementation of this parking business can provide the best service.

The purpose of this study was to know the responsibilities and economic needs of the parking officers at the hospital of dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangkaraya, namely: (1) to know the concept of wadi’ah in the parking service at the hospital of dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya and (2) to know the economic needs of parking officers according to Islam economy. This study used a qualitative approach and the research design was a case study. The data was obtained based on the interviews with the parking officers and their supervisors who were in the hospital of dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangkaraya. After that the data analysis was used a data reduction, presentation and the conclusion.

The result of this study concluded that: (1) the concept of wadi’ah in the parking service at the hospital of dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya is a deposit pattern yad amanah. This service follow the syari’at and business ethics in Islam. As well as in terms of determining the parking rates, caring the consumers and also using the concept of Islam that was wadi’ah in providing the deposit service. Then (2) the economic needs of parking officers at the hospital of dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangkaraya was known to be sufficient to fulfill the primary and secondary needs. Therefore in grouping of the family prosperity, most of these parking officers can be classified into a prosperous family group and only a partly included of the family underprivileged groups.
