Abstract

Bisnis akomodasi dapat digolongkan menjadi hotel, motel, losmen, serta guest house. Guest house ialah rumah pribadi yang ditransformasikan menjadi penginapan dengan fasilitas yang sederhana namun tidak menyediakan makanan. Rumusan Masalah dalam penelitian ini: (1) Bagaimana Grafik Kondisi Existing Guest House di Kota Palangka Raya? (2) Bagaimana Dampak Ekonomi Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bisnis Guest House di Kota Palangka Raya? Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menjawab rumusan masalah tersebut.

Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) yang menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual ekonomi syariah. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Pemilik dan Pengelola Guest House di kota Palangka Raya yang dalam pemilihan respondennya menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan Snowball. Serta dalam teknik analisis data menggunakan tahapan collection, reduction, display, dan conclusion drawing.

Hasil penelitian yaitu jumlah guest house pada tahun 2020 berjumlah 29 buah, terdapat duapuluh buah guest house di Kecamatan Jekan Raya dan sembilan buah guest house di Kecamatan Pahandut. Terdapat dua guest house yang memiliki label syariah, tetapi pemberian label syariah pada guest house belum terdaftar di Dewan Syariah Nasional Majelis Ualama Indonesiaa (DSN-MUI), pemilik dan pengelola menerapkan sistem syariah pada pengelolaan guest house-nya. Dampak positif di yang dirasakan yaitu dalam hal pendapatan, penyerapan tenaga kerja, serta kesempatan bekerja dan berusaha.

ABSTRACT

The accommodation business can be classified into hotels, motels, inns and guest houses. A guest house is a private house that has been transformed into an inn with simple facilities but does not provide food. Formulation of the problem in this study: (1) How is the Graph of the Condition of the Existing Guest House in Palangka Raya City? (2) How is the Economic Impact on the Growth of Guest House Business in Palangka Raya City? The purpose of this research is to answer the problem formulation.

The type of this research is field research which uses a contextual approach to Islamic economics. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects of this study were owners and managers of guest houses and home stays in the city of Palangka Raya, which in selecting respondents used purposive sampling and snowball techniques. As well as in data analysis techniques using the stages of collection, reduction, display, and conclusion drawing.

The results showed that the number of guest houses in 2020 was 29, there were twenty guest houses in Jekan Raya District and nine guest houses in Pahandut District. There are two guest houses that have sharia labels, but the giving of sharia labels to guest houses has not been registered with the The National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ualama Council (DSN-MUI), the owners and managers apply the sharia system to the management of the guest house.
