Abstract
Penelitian ini berdasarkan pada hasil observasi awal di SMPN 8 Palangka Raya diketahui bahwa sistem pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi dan berakibat rendahnya minat serta hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model learning cycle 7E terhadap : (1) minat belajar, (2) hasil belajar, dan (3) keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik yang berada di kelas VII tahun ajaran 2020/2021 di SMPN 8 Palangka Raya. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling, dengan sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas VII-9 dan kelas VII-11.Teknik pengambilan data berupa angket, lembar observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Pengujian hipotesis pada penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan rumus paired sample T test berbantu SPSS for Windows Versi 21.0.
Berdasarkan analisis pengujian hipotesis hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) tidak terdapat pengaruh model learning cycle 7E terhadap minat belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem organisasi kehidupan makhluk hidup, (2) terdapat pengaruh model learning cycle 7E terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem organisasi kehidupan makhluk hidup, (3) keterlaksanaan model learning cycle 7E berkriteria baik pada materi sistem organisasi kehidupan makhluk hidup di SMPN 8 Palangka Raya.
ABSTRACT
This research is based on the results of initial observations at SMPN 8 Palangka Raya, it is known that the learning system is less varied and results in low interest and learning outcomes of students. This study aims to determine the effect of themodel 7E learning cycle on: (1) interest in learning, (2) learning outcomes, and (3) the implementation of the learning model.
This study uses a quantitative approach with a nonequivalent control group design. The population used in this study were all students who were in class VII for the 2020/2021 academic year at SMPN 8 Palangka Raya. The sampling technique is purposive sampling, with the samples used are class VII-9 and class VII-11. Data collection techniques are in the form of questionnaires, observation sheets, tests and documentation. Hypothesis testing in this study is to use theformula paired sample T test assisted by SPSS for Windows Version 21.0.
Based on the analysis of hypothesis testing, the results of the study show that: (1) there is no effect of themodel 7E learning cycle on students' learning interest in the material organization system of living things, (2) there is an influence of themodel 7E learning cycle on student learning outcomes on organizational system material. the life of living things, (3) the implementation of themodel with 7E learning cycle good criteria on the material for the organization of living things at SMPN 8 Palangka Raya.
