Abstract

Abstract

ABSTRACT

This research was conducted based on the results of the analysis of learning needs by teachers and students, as well as the characteristics of students' learning in studying physics material. The results of the needs analysis by teachers and students concluded that teachers and students need other teaching materials to study physics material. The use of electronic teaching materials has not been carried out due to limited time and development by the teacher.

This research raises the material of class XI physics, namely Dynamic Fluids. The aims of this study are (1) to describe the profile of discovery learning-based e-module; (2) describe the feasibility of e-module based on discovery learning; (3) Describing students' responses to discovery learning-based e-modules.

The study is a research and development. The design of the development used was an ADDIE model of 5 stages: analysis, design, development, development, and design. However, in this research it is only conducted at an exponential level. The value of the dl e-module is seen from the validation scores of media experts, materials experts, learning design experts, and teachers Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, needs questionnaires, and questionnaires to validators and physics teachers. The instruments used were interview drafts and questionnaires for needs analysis, validators, and student response questionnaires.

The results of the study show that: (1) The profile of the e-module based on discovery learning of dynamic fluid material has the characteristics of presenting fluid material with the stages of the discovery learning model, which consists of stimulus, problem formulation, data collection, data processing, proof, and conclusion.(2 ) The feasibility of discovery learning-based e-modules by material experts is 89.6%, learning design experts are 85%, media experts are 78.6%, and the teacher eligibility category is 80%; (3) Trial of discovery learning-based e-module products on dynamic fluid materials received a positive response from students, this is evidenced by the results of the student response questionnaire which obtained results of 84.85% with interesting analysis categories.
