Abstract
Penelitian ini berdasarkan pada hasil wawancara dengan guru Biologi SMAN 1 Dususn Hilir Kabupaten Barito Selatan diketahui bahwa proses pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru dan alat-alat laboratorium yang tidak dapat digunakan sehingga berakibat pada rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi Protista. Ketuntasan peserta didik pada materi Protista hanya sebesar 50%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mendeskripsikan keterterapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Example Non Example dalam proses pembelajaran, (2) mendeskripsikan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi Protista setelah ditarapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Example Non Example, (3) untuk mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi Protista setelah ditarapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Example Non Example.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitaif deskriptif.Data keterterapan diukur menggunakan lembar observasi dan dianalisis menggunakan skala Guttman. Data hasil belajar kognitif diperoleh menggunakan metode preetes dan postes. Untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik menggunakan rumus N-gain.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) penerpan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Example Non Example mencapai rata-rata 98,33% dengan kategori sangat baik, (2) hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada materi Protista mencapai rata-rata 60,01 dengan kategori cukup baik, (3) peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik materi Protista dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,56 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang.
ABSTRACT
This research is based on the results of interviews with Biology teachers at SMAN 1 Dusun Hilir, Kabupaten Barito Selatan, it is known that the learning process is still cantered on teachers and laboratory tools that cannot be used result in the low learning outcomes of students on Protista material. The completeness of students on Protista material is only 50%.The objectives of this study are: (1) describing the application of the Non Example cooperative learning model in the learning process, (2) describing the learning outcomes of students on the Protista material after it is expected that the cooperative learning model Example Non Example, (3) to find out how the increase in learning outcomes students on the material Protista after expected non-Example cooperative learning model type.
This researched used descriptive quantitative method. The applicability data was measured used an observation sheet and analyzed used the Guttman scale. Data on cognitive learning outcomes were obtained used a preetest and posttest method.To find out the increase instudents cognitive leearning using the N-gain formula.
The results showed that: (1) the application of the Non Example cooperative learning model reached an average of 98.33% with a very good category, (2) the cognitive learning outcomes of students on the Protista material reached an average of 60.01 with an adequate category good, (3) an increase in cognitive learning outcomes of students Protista material with an N-gain value of 0.56 which is included in the medium category.
