Abstract

Prakerin adalah suatu bentuk kegiatan yang diikuti oleh siswa dengan bekerja langsung di dunia kerja yaitu dunia usaha dan dunia industri secara terarah dengan tujuan membekali siswa dengan sikap dan keterampilan sesuai dengan kompetensi keahlian yang dimiliki siswa sehingga dapat menjadi bekal dalam memasuki dunia kerja.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesesuaian antara context, input, process dan product prakerin dengan pedoman yang sudah dibakukan pada kompetensi keahlian Teknik Komputer Jaringan di SMK N – 8 Palangka Raya.

Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu model CIPP (Context, Input, Process and Product). Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskripsi melalui analisis data berupa wawancara, observasi, dokumen dan angket. Uji hipotesis menggunakan proses perhitungan analisis statistik deskriptif pada spss ver.26. Sumber data diperoleh dari kepala sekolah, ketua kompetensi keahlian teknik komputer jaringan, guru produktif, guru pembimbing dan instruktur DU/DI, serta peserta prakerin.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program Prakerin kompetensi keahlian Teknik Komputer Jaringan di SMK N – 8 Palangka Raya secara keseluruhan sudah sangat baik. Pada dimensi Context sangat baik dengan score 86,37%, dimensi Input sangat baik dengan score 87,87%, dimensi Process sangat baik dengan score 92,78% dan dimensi Product sangat baik dengan score 84,7%. Dengan demikian Program Prakerin ini dapat dilanjutkan dan dipertahankan serta ditingkatkan sehingga Peserta didik memiliki kompetensi yang siap kerja di dunia usaha dan industri.

ABSTRACT

Internships are a form of activities that are followed by students who work directly in the work world, namely the business world and the industrial world in the direction of aiming to equip students with attitudes and skills in accordance with the competency expertise possessed by students so that they can be equipped to enter the workforce.

This study aims to describe the suitability of context, input, process and product prakerin with guidelines that have been standardized on the competence of Computer Network Engineering expertise at State Vocational High Schools - 8 Palangka Raya.

The model used in this study is the CIPP (Context, Input, Process and Product) model. The approach in this study uses a quantitative approach to the description method through data analysis in the form of interviews, observations, documents and questionnaires. Hypothesis testing uses the descriptive statistical analysis calculation process in SPSS ver.26. Data sources were obtained from school principals, heads of competencies in computer network engineering expertise, productive teachers, supervisors and DU/DI instructors, as well as internship participants.

The results showed that the Internship program competency in Computer Network Engineering experise as a whole was effective. In the dimension of the Context very well with a score of 86.37%, the dimension Input very well with a score of 87.87%, the dimension Process very well with a score of 92.78% and the dimension Product very well with a score of 84.7%. Thus this internship program can be continued and maintained as well as improved so that students have competency skills that are ready to work in the business and industrial world.
