Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi sebagian besar siswa masih belum mampu menghafal surah-surah pendek, sehingga program pagi mengaji pun dibentuk. Namun hasil program ini juga belum maksimal, sehingga penting untuk diteliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji secara konteks, input, proses dan produk program pagi mengaji bagi siswa di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Islamiyah Palangka Raya.
Penelitian lapangan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif analitis. Subjeknya berjumlah delapan orang guru yang ditentukan berdasarkan kriteria tertentu. Data yang dikumpulkan dari observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dianalisis dengan teori CIPP yang dimulai dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, penyimpulan dan verifikasi data.
Hasil penelitian ini: (1) dilihat dari evaluasi konteks, masih banyak siswa belum hafal surah-surah dan doa-doa pendek, terlebih lagi mereka berasal dari latar belakang sosial, pendidikan dan ekonomi yang berbeda, sehingga diadakan program ini bertujuan agar siswa menguasai dan hafal materi yang diajarkan. (2) dilihat dari evaluasi input, walaupun kurikulum dan sarana prasarana telah memenuhi syarat, tetapi masih belum didukung kompetensi guru yang memadai. Hal ini bisa juga terjadi karena di antara materi itu ada yang terkesan berat. (3) dilihat dari evaluasi proses, metode yang digunakan guru secara umum sesuai dengan yang seharusnya bahkan ada yang lebih kreatif, hanya saja ada perilaku yang terkesan kurang tepat dilakukan baik oleh guru atau siswa. Di sisi yang lain, kehadiran siswa termasuk tinggi tetapi keaktifannya cukup beragam. (4) dilihat dari dari evaluasi produk bahwa nilai munaqasyah selama 3 tahun ajaran berturut-turut terjadi peningkatan tetapi masih belum signifikan.
Abstract
This research aims to investigate the emergence of Pagi Mengaji Program especially the context, input, process and the product of it, coincides with the inability of the student to remember the shorts surah in Qur’an scripture.
As the fieldwork study, this research uses analytical qualitative descriptive approaches which conducted eight teachers that has given certain characteristics. Data was collected by observations, interviews and documentation which is analyzed with CIPP theory that starts from data collection, data reduction, data presentation, inference and data verification.
Furthermore, the results of this research are: (1) Judging by the evaluation of the context. There are a lot of students who has not been able to memorize the surah-surah and short doa. Moreover, due to the background differences of social stratification, educational and economic, this program has failed to support students mastered and memorized teaching material. (2) Judging from the input evaluation, although the curriculum and infrastructure are qualified, the other factor is the teachers competences are still weak. It can also happened because of the materials are too hard to understand and studied. (3) Judging by the evaluation of the process, the teaching method in general has already been working well even be more creative but, there is some of the behavior that is less precisely done by teacher or student. On the other hand, the student's attendance is shown the high percentage likewise they also actively involved in the vary ways. (4) Judging from the evaluation of the product, the Munaqasyah scores in past three years has been increase even though still not significant.
