Abstract

Bank Syariah Mandiri Kantor Cabang Palangka Raya, salah satu perbankan yang merekrut pegawai non muslim kompetensional dan profesional dibidangnya (khusus marketing). Bagaimana rekrutmennya?Bagaimana pembinaan dan pengembangannya?Bagaimana pemantauan kinerja pegawai non muslim di Bank Syariah Mandiri Kantor Cabang Palangka Raya? Inilah yang menjadi permasalahan yang akan diteliti.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, adapun subjek penelitian ini adalah unsur pimpinan yaitu Pimpinan Cabang, Manajer SDI, Manajer Marketing dan pegawai non muslim di Bank Syariah Mandiri Kantor Cabang Palangka Raya. Teknik pengumpulan datanya dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.Teknik pengabsahan datanya menggunakan triangulasi sumber dengan mengumpulkan data dan informasi sejenis dari berbagai sumber yang berbeda.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: pertamaImplementasi kerja yang ditunjukan oleh managerial Bank Syariah Mandiri Palangka Raya dalam aspek rekrutmen pegawai non muslim dapat dikatakan sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip pengelolaan yang baik. Rekrutmen pegawai non muslim dilakukan dengan tiga sarana yaitu media online, media massa/cetak, dan melalui pegawai internal. Berdasarkan evaluasi yang paling efektif adalah menggunakan sarana media online dan melalui pegawai internal.Kedua, Pembinaan pegawai non muslim yang dilakukan Bank Syariah Mandiri Kantor Cabang Palangka Raya meliputi metode on the job training, training in class, dan management development.Kemudian Selain aspek skill keprofesionalan melalui pelatihan dan pengembangan, juga dilakukan internalisasi nilai-nilai etika bisnis Islam yang meliputi: nilai ke-Tuhanan (tauhid), keseimbangan (adil), kehendak bebas (free will), tanggungjawab (responsibility), kebenaran (kebajikan dan kejujuran), serta nilai toleransi. Sehingga mampu menghasilkan pegawai yang tidak hanya bekerja secara profesional tetapi juga memiliki akhlak yang mulia.Ketiga, Penilai kinerja pegawai non muslim di Bank Syariah Mandiri Kantor Cabang Palangka Raya telah dilakukan sesuai prinsip-prinsip manajemen, hal itu terlihat dari adanya mekanisme pemantauan kinerja pegawai non muslim berjalan sesuai dengan mekanisme yaitu ada pemantauan harian, mingguan dan bulanan, sehingga selain segala permasalahan dilapangan dapat segera diselesaikan, juga diharapkan pegawai akan meningkat kinerjanya karena merasa diawasi oleh pimpinannya.

Abstract

Bank Syariah Mandiri Palangka Raya Branch Office is one of the banks which is recruiting a competent and professional non-Muslim employee in their fields (especially in marketing). How is the recruitment? How is the coaching and developing? How to monitor the performance of non-Muslim employees in Bank Syariah Mandiri Palangka Raya Branch Office? This are the problems which will be studied.

This research is a field research using descriptive qualitative research methods, in which the subjects of this research are the leadership element of the Branch Manager, human resources Manager, Marketing Manager and non-Muslim employees at Bank Syariah Mandiri Palangka Raya Branch Office. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validation technique uses triangulation of sources by collecting data and similar information from different sources.

The results of this study indicate that; First, the work implementation shown by the managerial of Bank Syariah Mandiri Palangka Raya in the aspect of recruiting non-Muslim employees can be said that it is in accordance with the principles of good management. Recruitment of non-Muslim employees is done by three ways, namely online media, mass / print media, and through internal employees. Based on the most effective evaluation is to use online media facilities and through internal employees.

Second, non-Muslim employee training conducted by Bank Syariah Mandiri Palangka Raya Branch Office includes on the job training, training in class, and management development. Then, in addition of professional skills aspect through training and development, it is also done by internalization of Islamic business ethics values, which are: the value of God (monotheism), balance (fair), free will, responsibility, truth (virtue and honesty), and the value of tolerance. So, it is able to produce employees who not only work professionally but also have a noble character.

Third, the performance appraisal of non-Muslim employees at the Bank Syariah Mandiri Palangka Raya Branch Office has been carried out according to management principles. This can be seen from the existence of monitoring the performance of non-Muslim employees that runs according to the mechanism, namely; daily, weekly and monthly monitoring, so that in addition to all problems in the field can be immediately resolved, it is also expected to make employees able to improve their performance because they feel supervised by their lleader.
