Abstract
Penelitian skripsi yang berjudul dampak revitalisasi pasar kahayan Kota Palangka Raya terhadap penurunan pendapatan pedagang tradisional, difokuskan pada dua permaslaahan yaitu bagaimana dampak revitalisasi pasar kahayan kota Palangka Raya terhadap penurunan pendapatan pedagang tradisional. Apa saja faktor penyebab terjadinya penurunan pendapatan pedagang tradisional setelah revitalisasi pasar kahayan kota Palangka Raya.dari rumusan masalah tersebut maka tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui dampak revitalisasi pasar kahayan Kota Palangka Raya dan mengetahui faktor penyebab terjadinya penurunan pendapatan pedagang tradisional setelah revitalisasi.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, ada pun subjek penelitian ini adalah para pedagang tradisional yang berjualan di pasar kahayan Kota Palangka Raya sebelum dan sesudah revitalisasi pasar kahayan Kota Palangka Raya. Teknik pengumpulan datanya dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengabsahan datanya menggunakan trianggulasi sumber dengan mengumpulkan data dan informasi sejenis dari berbagai sumber yang berbeda.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dampak positif dari revitalisasi pasar kahayan Kota Palangka Raya adalah tata kelola bangunan pasar yang sudah modern. Dampak negatifnya adalah penurunan pendapatan pedagang tradisional sekitar 40% sesudah revitalisasi pasar kahayan Kota Palangka Raya. Adapun faktor yang mempengaruhi penurunan pendapatan pedagang tradisional pada pasar kahayan Kota Palangka Raya adalah faktor harga barang, lokasi usaha, serta perkembangan pasar modern saat ini.
ABSTRACT
This thesis research entitled the impact of the revitalization of the kahayan market in Palangka Raya City on the decline in income of traditional traders, is focused on two problems, namely how the impact of the revitalization of the kahayan market in Palangka Raya city on the decline in income of traditional traders. What are the factors that cause the decrease in income of traditional traders after the revitalization of the kahayan market in Palangka Raya city. From the formulation of these problems, the aim of the study is to determine the impact of the revitalization of the kahayan market in Palangka Raya City and to determine the factors that cause the decrease in income of traditional traders after revitalization.
This research is a field research using descriptive qualitative research methods, while the subjects of this study are traditional traders who sell in the kahayan market of Palangka Raya City before and after the revitalization of the kahayan market in Palangka Raya City. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validation technique used source triangulation by collecting similar data and information from a variety of different sources.
The results show that the positive impact of the revitalization of the Kahayan market in Palangka Raya City is the management of modern market buildings. The negative impact is a decrease in the income of traditional traders by about 40% after the revitalization of the kahayan market in Palangka Raya City. The factors that influence the decline in income of traditional traders in the kahayan market of Palangka Raya City are the factors of price of goods, business location, and the development of modern markets today.
