Abstract
Sarana dan prasarana pendidikan merupakan material pendidikan yang keberadaan, fungsi dan perannya mempunyai posisi sangat penting dalam menunjang kemajuan pendidikan. Kepala sekolah merupakan jabatan strategis dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan, termasuk perencanaan dan pengadaan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan adalah menjadi salah satu tugas dan tanggung jawabnya.
Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi-strategi yang dilakukan Kepala Sekolah dalam perencanaan, pengadaan dan pengembangan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan yang ada di SMA Global Islamic Boarding School (GIBS) Kabupaten Batola.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan dilakukan di SMA Global Islamic Boarding School (GIBS) Kabupaten Batola. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik keaslian/keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber data, triangulasi metode, dan triangulasi teori. Data yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan model interaktif meliputi: pembengkakan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: strategi yang digunakan Kepala Sekolah SMA Global Islamic Boarding School dalam perencanaan kebutuhan sarana dan prasarana adalah dengan menentukan: Strategic Planning (rencana jangka panjang), Operational Plan (rencana jangka pendek), dan Spesific Plan (rencana khusus), kemudian strategi pengadaan kebutuhan sarana dan prasarana adalah dengan menentukan sumber pendanaan dan menentukan prosedur pengadaan.
Abstract
Facilities and infrastructure is an educational material whose existence, function, and role have an essential position in supporting the progress of education. The headmaster has a strategic role in achieving the education goals, including planning and supplying of educational facilities and infrastructures; it has to be one of his duties and responsibilities.
This study aims to find out how the headmaster’s strategy in planning, supplying, and developing facilities and infrastructure in SMA Global Islamic Boarding School (GIBS) Kabupaten Batola.
This study used qualitative approach and took place in SMA Global Islamic Boarding School (GIBS) Kabupaten Batola. Data collection techniques were through interview, observation, and documentation. Data validity used triangulation data source, triangulation method, and triangulation theory. Data was analyzed by using interactive model namely: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification.
The results showed that: the facilities and infrastructures planning strategy that used by headmaster of SMA Global Islamic Boarding School (GIBS) Kabupaten Batola is by determining: strategic planning (long term plan), operational plan (short term plan), and specific plan. Whereas, the facilities and infrastructures supplying strategy that used by the headmaster is by determining the source funding and the supplying procedure.
