Abstract

Penelitian ini berdasarkan pada kurang maksimalnya penggunaan laboraturium IPA hal ini mengakibatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik belum terlihat secara optimal. Tujuan penelitain ini untuk (1) mengetahui penerapan bagaimana keterampilan proses sains dalam hasil belajar pada peserta didikkelas X ATPH SMKN 1 Kapuas Murung. (2) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana efektifitas penerapan metode praktikum dalam keterampilan proses sains materi bakteri pada peserta didik kelas X ATPH SMKN 1 Kapuas Murung (3) Mengetahui bagaimana hasil belajar peserta didik pada penerapan metode praktikum.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Data keterterapan diukur menggunakan lembar observas. Data hasil belajar kognitif diperoleh menggunakan metode tes dan dianalisis dengan rumus N-gain.

Metode penelitian menggunakan (1) desain one groub pretest and posttest yaitu desain yang terdapat pretest sebelum diberi perlakuan dan posttest setelah diberi perlakuan. (2) Jenis penelitain yang digunakan deskriptif kuantitatif yang mana penelitain deskritif ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan suatu gejala, peristiwa, dan kejadian secara faktual.(3) Populasi dan sampel penelitian terdiri dari 1 kelas yang berjumlah 21 peserta didik. (4) Variabel penelitian menggunakan variabel bebas dan variabel terkait. (5) Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan berdasarkan lembar observasi KPS. (6) Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi dan kognitif kalibrasi intrumen berupa uji validitas, uji reliabitas, daya pembeda dan taraf kesukaran. (7) Uji prasyarat analisi data berupa uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, analisis N-gain dan uji hipotesis.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) keefektifitasan penerapan motode praktikum terhadap KPS memiliki peningkatan pada setiap pertemuannya dengan kategori baik,(2) Keterampilan proses sains peserta didik melalui penerapan metode praktikum pada materi bakteri secara keseluruhan KPS peserta didik termasuk dalam kriteria sangat baik. Pada setiap pertemuan KPS mengalami peningkatan. Aspek KPS mengamati, memprediksi, mengklasifikasikan dan mengkomunikasikan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, sedangkan aspek KPS menyimpulkan termasuk dalam kategori baik. (3) hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada materi klasifikasi bakteri mencapai ketuntasan sebesar 92% dan ketidak tuntasan hany asebesar 8%. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode praktikum terhadap keterampilan proses sains dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Absract

This research was based on the lack of maximum use of science laboratories. This results in students' scientific process skills not being seen optimally. The purpose of this research was to (1) find out the application of how the science process skills in learning outcomes in students of class X ATPH SMK 1 Kapuas Murung. (2) find out how effective the application of practicum methods in the science process skills of bacterial material in class X students of ATPH SMK 1 Kapuas Murung (3) Know how students' learning outcomes are in the application of practicum methods. This research uses descriptive quantitative methods. Applicability data were measured using observas sheets. Data on cognitive learning outcomes were obtained using a test method and analyzed with the N-gain formula.

The research method applied (1) one groub pretest and posttest design that is a design that has a pretest before being treated and posttest after being treated. (2) The type of research used is descriptive quantitative in which this descriptive research was carried out to describe a phenomenon, event and event factually, (3) The population and sample of research consisted of 1 class of 21 students. (4) Research variables used independent variables and related variables. (5) Data collection techniques was based on KPS observation sheets. (6) The research instrument used observation instruments and cognitive calibration sheets in the form of validity, reliability, differentiation and difficulty levels. (7) Data analysis prerequisited test in the form of normality test, homogeneity test, N-gain analysis and hypothesis test.

The results showed that: (1) the effectiveness of the application of the practicum method to KPS had an increase in each meeting with good categories, (2) the science process skills of students through the application of practicum methods on bacterial material as a whole The KPS of students was included in very good criteria. At every PPP meeting there was an increase. The PPP aspects of observing, predicting, classifying and communicating are included in the very good category, while the PPP aspect was concluded as included in the good category. (3) students' cognitive learning outcomes in bacterial classification materials reach 92% completeness and as much as 8% incompleteness. The results of this study could be concluded that the practicum method of science process skills would improve student learning outcomes.
