Abstract

Peran dari kepala madrasah sebagai seorang pemimpin adalah menjadi kunci dari peningkatan atau perkembangan madrasah. Peningkatan kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran dan pelaksanaan tugasnya dapat tercapai apabila kepala madrasah sebagai pemimpin mampu memacu guru dan pegawai dalam meningkatkan kinerjanya dengan sungguh-sungguh dan penuh dedikasi yang tinggi terhadap tugas yang diembannya. Hal ini menurut peneliti menarik untuk diteliti.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pemberian motivasi kerja, kompetensi kepribadian kepala madrasah dan kinerja guru di MAN 1 Pulang Pisau serta mengetahui pengaruh pemberian motivasi kerja, kompetensi kepribadian kepala madrasah terhadap kinerja guru di MAN 1 Pulang Pisau Kecamatan Kahayan Hilir Kabupaten Pulang Pisau baik secara parsial maupun simultan.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasi dengan jumlah responden 37 orang. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pemberian motivasi kerja masuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi dengan persentase sebesar 100 %, kompetensi kepribadian masuk dalam kategori sangat baik sebesar 97,37 %, kategori baik sebesar 2,63 %, dan kinerja guru menunjukkan sangat tinggi sebesar 100 %. Hasil uji t diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 3,356 sedangkan nilai ttabel sebesar 1,687 pada taraf signifikansi 5%, sehingga disimpulkan motivasi kerja secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru dengan koefisien determinasi 0,263 atau 26,3 %. Hasil uji t diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 2,704 sedangkan nilai ttabel sebesar 1,687 pada taraf signifikansi 5%yang berarti kompetensi kepribadian berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,173 atau 17,3 %. Hasil uji F diperoleh Fhitung sebesar 9,965. Jika dibandingkan dengan nilai Ftabel sebesar 6,350 pada taraf signifikansi 5%, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara bersama-sama antara motivasi kerja dan kompetensi kepribadian kepala madrasah terhadap kinerja guru dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,370 atau 37 %.

ABSTRACT

The role of the head of the madrassa as a leader is becoming the key of improvement or development of the madrasah. Improved performance of teachers in the learning and execution of their duties can be achieved if the head of the madrassa as a leader able to stimulate teachers and employees in improving its performance with earnest and full dedication that high against the assignment are adopting . It is according to researchers interesting to study.

The Objective research is to determine giving motivation to work , the competence of the personality head master and performance of teachers in MAN 1 Pulang Pisau and know influenced giving motivational work, competence personality head master to the performance of teachers in MAN 1 Pulang Pisau district of Kahayan Hilir Regency Pulang Pisau well as partial or simultaneous .

Type of research this is a quantitative correlation with the number of respondents 37 people. The result analysis shows that the implementation of the provision of motivation to work entered in the category of extremely high with a percentage of 100%, competent the personality entered in the category very good at 97.37%, a category well by 2.63%, and the performance of teachers showed very high at 100 % . Thu result test t obtained value t arithmetic amounted to 3.356 , while the value of t table amounted to 1,687 at level of significance of 5%, so that concluded motivation to work is partially air- influence positively and significantly to the performance of teachers with a coefficient of determination of 0.263 or 26.3%. The results of the test t obtained value t arithmetic amounted to 2.704 , while the value of t table amounted to 1.687 at the level of significance of 5%, which means that the competence of personality ber influence positively and significantly to the performance of teachers with a coefficient of determination of 0.173 or 17.3% . If compared with the value of F table amounted to 6.350 at the level of significance of 5%, which means that there is the influence of positive and significant in jointly between motivation to work and competence of personality to the performance of teachers with koef isien determination of 0.370 or 37%.
