Abstract

Penelitian ini berlandaskan dari adanya Peraturan Presiden Nomor 87 tahun 2017 tentang penguatan pendidikan karakter. Penguatan pedidikan karakter merupakan gerakan pendidikan dibawah tanggung jawab satuan pendidikan untuk menguatkan karakter siswanya. Untuk itu sekolah bertanggung jawab untuk melaksanakan penguatan karakter pada siswanya. Pelaksanaan penguatn karkter hendaknya dilaksanakan berdasarkan prinsip sebagaimana diatur dalam Peraturan Presiden nomor 87 tahun 2017 pasal 5 yakni berorientasi pada perkembangan siswa secara menyeluruh dn terpadu, pembiasaan, dan keteladanan baik dalam pelaksanaannya dalam pembelajaran maupun di luar pembelajaran. Untuk itu rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Bagaimana pelaksanaan penguatan pendidikan karakter siswa kelas V SDIT Al Mujahidul Amin Palangka Raya dalam pembelajaran. (2) Bagaimana pelaksanaan penguatan pendidikan karakter siswa kelas V SDIT Al Mujahidul Amin Palangka Raya d pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian 1 Wakil Kepala Sekolah dan 4 guru yang mengajar di kelas V. Data dikumpulkan dengan meggunakan teknik wawancara dam dokumentasi, selanjutnya data diabsahkan dengan menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Dan untuk teknik dalam menganalisis data meliputi pengambilan data, pengumpulan data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan.

Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Pelaksanaan penguatan pendidikan karakter siswa kelas V di SDIT Al Mujahidul Amin Palangka Raya dalam pembelajaran belum dilaksanakan sebagaimana harusnya. Guru kelas V belum mengintegrasikan penguatan pendidikan karakter dalam RPP maupun materi pelajaran dan proses pembelajaran di kelas, guru juga belum melaksanakan penilaian otentik dalam pembelajaran. Namun guru melakukan penguatan karakter dengan kegiatan pembiasaan dalam pembelajaran seperti pembiasaan berdoa sebelum dan sesudah belajar, pembiasaan membaca buku atau surat pendek sebelum pembelajaran, serta dengan pengelolaan kelas yakni dengan kesepakatan kelas dan kontrol kelas. (2) Pelaksanaan penguatan pendidikan karakter siswa kelas V di SDIT Al Mujahidul Amin Palangka Raya di luar pembelajaran telah dilaksanakan dengan baik, yakni dengan menerapkan prinsip berorientasi pada perkembangan potensi siswa, pembiasaan dan keteladanan. Penguatan pendidikan karakter disini dilakukan dengan kegiatan rutin, kegiatan terprogram, kegiatan spontan, dan ekstrakulikuler. Kegiatan rutin tersebut yaitu kegiatan PANJI, sholat dhuha, kegiatan Qailulah (tidur sebelum sholat dhuhur), kegiatan makan siang, kegiatan sholat berjama’ah, kegiatan one day one goodness,kegiatan infak jum’at, kegiatan wirausaha (bisnis day), dan kegiatan literasi. Kegiatan terprogramnya yaitu kegiatan MABIT, kegiatan Mujahidul Amin All Star Show, PHBI, dan Peringatan Hari Kemerdekaan. Kegiatan ekstrakulikulernya yaitu ekstrakulikuler Pramuka, Karate, Memanah, Tari dan Tartil.

ABSTRACT

This research is based on the existence of President Regulation Number 87 of 2017 concerning strengthening character education. Strengthening character education is an educational movement under the responsibility of the education unit to strengthen the character of its students. For this reason, the school is responsible for carrying out character strengthening in its students. The implementation of character strengthening should be carried out based on the principles as stipulated in President Regulation Number 87 of 2017 article 5, which is oriented towards student development as a whole and is integrated, habituation, and exemplary both in its implementation in learning and outside learning. For this reason, the formulation of the problem in this study is as follows: (1) How is the implementation of strengthening character education for fifth grade students of SDIT Al Mujahidul Amin Palangka Raya in learning. (2) How is the implementation of strengthening character education for fifth grade students of SDIT Al Mujahidul Amin Palangka Raya in learning. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type with the research subjects 1 Deputy Principal and 4 teachers teaching in class V. The data were collected using interview and documentation techniques, then the data was validated using triangulation techniques. And for techniques in analyzing data. include data collection, data collection, data presentation and drawing conclusions.

The results of this study are as follows: (1) The implementation of strengthening the character education of grade V students in SDIT Al Mujahidul Amin Palangka Raya in learning has not been implemented as it should be. Grade V teachers have not integrated character education reinforcement in the Learning Implementation Plan as well as lesson materials and learning processes in the classroom, nor have teachers carried out authentic assessments in learning. But teachers do strengthen character with habituation activities in learning such as habituation of praying before and after learning, habituation of reading books or short letters before learning, and with classroom management i.e. by classroom agreement and class control. (2) The implementation of strengthening the character education of grade V students at SDIT Al Mujahidul Amin Palangka Raya outside of learning has been implemented well, namely by applying principles oriented towards the development of student potential, habituation and exemplary. Strengthening character education here is carried out with routine activities, programmatic activities, spontaneous, and extracurricular activities. The routine activities are PANJI activities, dhuha prayer, sleep before dhuhur prayer activities, lunch activities, congregational prayers, one day one goodness activities, Friday infak activities, entrepreneurial activities (business day), and literacy activities. Its programmatic activities are MABIT activities, Mujahidul Amin All Star Show, PHBI, and Independence Day Commemoration. Its extracurricular activities are Extracurricular Scout, Karate, Archery, Dance and Tartil.
