Abstract
Penelitian ini bertolak dari hasil observasi di Pondok Pesantren Darul Amin Palangka Raya, beberapa siswa yang awalnya cukup mampu membaca Al-Qur’an ketika diterapkan metode Tilawati kembali ke buku Tilawati jilid 1-5 sesuai dengan kemampuan siswa karena dianggap masih kurang mampu. Hal ini berbeda dengan siswa MTs Raudhatul Jannah yang masih menggunakan metode Iqro’, hampir semua siswanya sudah mampu membaca Al-Qur’an bahkan yang masih pada tahap Iqro’ hanya beberapa orang saja. Penerapan metode Tilawati dan metode Iqro’ memiliki tujuan yang sama, yaitu agar siswa mampu membaca Al-Qur’an dengan baik dan benar. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Bagaimana kemampuan membaca Al-Quran siswa dengan menggunakan metode Tilawati di Pondok Pesantren Darul Amin? (2) Bagaimana kemampuan membaca Al-Quran siswa dengan menggunakan metode Iqro’ di MTs Raudatul Jannah? (3) Bagaimana perbedaan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca Al-Quran antara menggunakan metode Tilawati di Pondok Pesantren Darul Amin dan Metode Iqro’ di MTs Raudatul Jannah?
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif membandingkan hasil kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an dengan penggunaan dua metode yang berbeda. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu tes (lisan). Dengan Subjek 10 orang siswa Pondok Pesantren Darul Amin dan 10 orang siswa MTs Raudhatul Jannah. Sehingga jumlah keseluruhannya adalah 20 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan rumus uji “t” dengan menguji hipotesis ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara yang menggunakan metode Tilawati dan Metode Iqro’ dan tidak
ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara yang menggunakan metode Tilawati dan Metode Iqro’.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) Kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an siswa yang menggunakan metode Tilawati kategori mampu berjumlah 9 orang (90%), kategori cukup mampu 1 orang (10%), dan kategori kurang mampu tidak ada Dengan demikian nilai rata-rata kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an siswa yang menggunakan metode Tilawati di Pondok Pesantren Darul Amin dalam membaca
Al-Qur’an yaitu 91,48 . (2) Kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an siswa yang menggunakan metode Iqro’ kategori mampu berjumlah 7 orang (70%), kategori cukup mampu 2 orang (20%), dan kategori kurang mampu 1 orang (20%). Dengan demikian nilai rata-rata kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an siswa yang menggunakan metode Iqro’ yaitu rata-rata 76,86. (3) Ada (terdapat) perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an siswa yang menggunakan metode Tilawati di Pondok Pesantren Darul Amin dan metode Iqro’ di MTs Raudhatul Jannah, karena hasil analisa uji hipotesa dengan menggunakan uji t test diperoleh bahwa to lebih besar dari pada t tabel tabel baik dari taraf signifikan 5% maupun taraf 1% yaitu : 2,10 < 7 > 2,88 ini berarti Ha diterima.
ABSTRACT
This research investigated of observation at Darul Amin Islamic Boarding School in Palangka Raya, some students who were initially quite capable of reading Al-Qur'an when applying Tilawati method, returning to the Tilawati volumes 1-5 in accordance with their abilities due to being considered still less able. This is different from the students of MTs Raudhatul Jannah that still use Iqro' method, almost all students are able to read Qur'an though only a few are still at the Iqro’ stage. Both Tilawati and Iqro' method have the same goal, that students are able to read Al-Qur'an properly and correctly. The formulation of the problem in this study were: (1) How was the students’ reading Al-Quran ability using Tilawati method at Darul Amin Islamic Boarding School ? (2) How was the students’ reading Al-Quran ability using Iqro' method at MTs Raudatul Jannah? 3) How any difference at students' ability to read Al-Qur'an between using Tilawati method in Darul Amin Islamic Boarding School and the Iqro' Method in Raudatul Jannah MTs?
This research applied quantitative methods that compared the results of ability to read Al-Quran that used two different methods. The research instrument used was a test (oral). The subjects in this research were 10 students of Darul Amin
Islamic Boarding School and 10 students of MTs Raudhatul Jannah. Data analysis used "t" test formula by testing a predetermined hypothesis there is a significant difference between using the Tilawati method and the Iqro’ and no there is a significant difference between using the Tilawati method and the Iqro’.
The results showed that (1) Students’ ability of reading Al-Qur'an using Tilawati method at capable categories numbered 9 (90%), while the category of quite capable were four people (10%), and the category of less capable were none. Thus, the value of the mean average of students reading Qur'an with Tilawati method in Pondok Pesantren Darul Amin was 91,48. (2) Students’ ability of reading Al-Qur'an using Iqro’ method at capable category numbered 7 people (70%), while the category of quite capable were 2 people (20%), and the category of less capable were 1 people (10%). Thus, the value of the mean average of students reading Qur'an with Iqro 'method was an average of 76.86. (3) There was a significant difference between students’ ability to read Al-Qur'an using Tilawati method in Darul Amin Islamic Boarding School and Iqro 'method in Raudhatul Jannah MTs, because the results of the hypothesis test analysis using the t test were obtained that the to was larger than t table both of 5% significance level and level 1%, namely: 2.10 <7 > 2.88 which means Ha was accepted.
