Abstract

Full day school adalah salah satu program unggulan yang dirintis oleh beberapa sekolah. Program ini merupakan sebuah model pendidikan alternatif, dimana peserta didik sehari penuh berada di sekolah untuk melakukan proses pembelajaran dan proses beribadah. SD IT Al-Qonita adalah suatu lembaga Pendidikan formal yang memadukan antara pendidikan umum dan agama, namun pada pelaksanaanya pendidikan dalam praktiknya mengalami
berbagai macam problem, salah satunya adalah kenakalan siswa. Beranjak dari
latar belakang tersebut penulis mengadakan penelitian dengan rumusan masalah yaitu (1) Bagaimana implementasi full day school di SD IT Al-Qonita kota Palangka Raya?, (2) Apakah full day school dapat menangkal kenakalan siswa SD IT Al-Qonita kota Palangka Raya?.

Penelitian ini bersifat penelitian lapangan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian kepala sekolah, wakil kepala kesiswaan, dan pendidik. Sedangkan objek penelitian penelitian sekolah SD IT Al-Qonita
kota Palangka Raya. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digali melalui
obsevasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pengabsahan data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik trianggulasi dan dianalisi melalui data collection, data
reduction, data display,dan data conclousion.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem full day school yang telah diterapkan sekolah kepada siswanya memberikan solusi dalam mengatasi kenakalan siswa berupa metode pembiasaan agama seperti sholat,tadarus, sholat dhuha, pembiasaan sopan santun, menghormati, disiplin, bertanggung jawab, dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang telah ditetapkan dapat menangkal kenakalan siswa. Dengan kata lain Full Day School memberikan dampak dan juga penyelesaian yang baik melalui tindakan preventif atau
pencegahan dengan melakukan pembinaan bidang karakter, tindakan represif atau
memberikan sanksi kepada siswa yang melakukan kesalahan dengan teguran secara langsung dan tindakan terakhir upaya pembinaan memanggil siswa untuk mengkalrifikasi kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dan mecari solusi agar siswa tidak mengulangi kenakalan. Oleh karena itu, dalam kasus kenakalan siswa di SD IT Al-Qonita sistem Full Day School dapat menangkal atau mengatasi permasalahan tersebut.

ABSTRACT

Full day school is one of the excellent programs pioneered by several schools. This program is an alternative education model, where students are in the school all day to did the learning process and the worship. SD IT Al-Qonita is a formal institution of education that combines between general education and religion, but the implementation of education in practice have various kinds problem, one of them is Students‟ Naughtiness. Based on that background, the researcher did a research with the research problem as follow (1) How is the implementation of Full Day School in SD IT Al- Qonita at Palangka Raya?, (2) How about Full Day Schools’ effort to prevent Students‟
Naughtiness in SD IT Al- Qonita at Palangka Raya?.

This research used qualitative descriptive methods. The subject of this research were headmaster, the vice head of student affairs, and teacher. Meanwhile, the object of this research was SD IT Al-Qonita at Palangka Raya. Then, the collecting data technique used observation, interview and documentation. Validation of this research data using triangulation techniques and analyzed through data collection, data reduction, data display, and data conclusion.

The findings of this research show that the application of Full Day Schools’ system that have been applied from school to that students, it known by religious habituation methods such as whorship, recited, dhuhas‟ prayer, politeness habituation, respect, discipline, responsible, and extracurricular
activities that have been assigned to prevent Stundents‟ Naugthiness. Application of school to prevent students‟ naughtiness when they did the naughtiness that is by preventive measures or preventive by coaching in character, refresive measures or give penalty to students whose made mistake and the last called students to give clarification that students did and found a solution to make students did not repeat the naughtiness.
