Abstract

Kajian ini hanya mencakup pembahasan yang berfokus pada etika dagang Urang Banjar di pasar besar Kota Palangka Raya dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari hasil observasi peneliti dilapangan, dimana di lokasi tersebut banyak sekali pedagang Urang banjar, kemudian terdapat perilaku
beberapa Urang pedagang yang kurang sesuai dengan etika bisnis dalam Islam. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1) Bagaimana Pemahaman pedagang Urang Banjar mengenai etika bisnis dalam Islam (2) Bagaimana praktik dagang Urang banjar dalam berdagang (3) Bagaimana etika bisnis pedagang Urang banjar dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berfokus pada pedagang Urang Banjar dan pembelinya, objek dari penelitian ini adalah etika dagang Urang Banjar dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis yang dikembangkan oleh Miles dan Huberman.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menyatakan : Pertama transaksi yang dilakukan pedagang telah sesuai dengan transaksi yang diperbolehkan dalam Islam. Namun di samping hal tersebut masih ada beberapa pedagang yang melakukan transaksi - transaksi yang dilarang dalam Islam. Kedua pemahaman Urang Banjar mengenai etika bisnis Islam memang belum memahami sepenuhnya secara teori, akan tetapi
dalam melaksanakan transaksi jual sudah sesuai dengan etika bisnis Islam. Ketiga
etika bisnis pedgang Urang banjar telah sesuai dengan prinsip ekonomi Islam Namun
masih terapat beberapa pedagang yang praktik bisnisnya masih kurang sesuai dengan etika bisnis Islam.

ABSTRACT

This study only covers discussions that focus on the ethics of Banjar people in the big market of Palangka Raya City in the perspective of Islamic economics. This research is motivated by the results of observations by researchers in the field, where there are a lot of traders in the location, then there are behaviors of some traders who are not in accordance with business ethics in Islam. The formulation of the problem in this research are (1) How is the understanding of Banjar traders about business ethics in Islam (2) How are the banjar's trading practices in trading (3) How is the business ethics of Banjar traders in the perspective of Islamic economics.This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Subjects in this study focus on Banjar traders and buyers, the object of this research is the Banjar people trading ethics in the perspective of Islamic economics. Research data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses analysis techniques developed by Miles and Huberman.

Based on the results of the study states: First the transactions made by traders are in accordance with transactions that are allowed in Islam. But besides that there are still some traders who carry out transactions that are prohibited in Islam.
Secondly, Banjar traders' understanding of Islamic business ethics does not fully
understand in theory, but in carrying out buying and selling transactions they apply
the rules set in Islamic teachings. The three business ethics of banjar merchants are in accordance with the principles of Islamic economics which include,performing prayers, giving alms, being fair in treating buyers, transparency about the quality of goods, keeping promises, and being polite and polite towards buyers. But there are still some traders whose business practices are still not in accordance with Islamic business ethics.
