Abstract

Penelitian ini bertolak dari pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam yang masih menggunakan metode konvesional dan siswa yang kurang aktif saat pembelajaran, sehingga berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang tidak memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM).
Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan mengetahui: 1) Penerapan strategi critical incident (pengalaman penting) pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMPN 1 Tewang Sangalang Garing Kabupaten Katingan, 2) Hasil belajar setelah dan sebelum penerapan strategi critical incident (pengalaman penting) pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMPN 1 Tewang Sangalang Garing Kabupaten Katingan, 3) Perbedaan hasil belajar setelah dan sebelum penerapan strategi critical incident (pengalaman penting) pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMPN 1 Tewang Sangalang Garing Kabupaten Katingan.
Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa beragam islam kelas VIII SMPN 1 Tewang Sangalang Garing kabupaten Katingan yang berjumlah 17 orang. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: 1) lembar pengamatan peneliti, 2) lembar pengamatan siswa, dan 2) tes hasil belajar. Tehnik analisis data yang digunakan adalah tehnik analisis kuantitatif yang diolah dengan menggunakan statistik dan data yang bersifat kualitatif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Penerapan strategi pembelajaran critical incident (pengalaman penting) berada pada kategori baik, karena peneliti melaksanakan pengelolaan pembelajaran sesuai dengan langkah-langkah yang ditentukan. 2) Hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah penerapan strategi critical incident (pengalaman penting), dilihat dari nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 62,11 menjadi 91,29 nilai posttest, mengalami peningkatan sebesar 29,18% dari nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest. 3) Berdasarkan hasil pada uji statistik hipotesis saat pretest dan posttest didapatkan hasil thitung (35,42) ≥ ttabel (2,583), berdasarkan hal tersebut maka terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah penerapan strategi critical incident (pengalaman penting).

Abstract

This study departed from Islamic religious education learning that still uses conventional methods and students who are less active when learning, so that it affects the learning outcomes of students who do not meet the Minimum Criteria Mastery Standard (KKM).
The research conducted to find out: 1) Application strategy of critical incident (important experience) in Islamic Religious Education subject at SMPN 1 Tewang Sangalang Garing, Katingan Regency, 2) Learning outcomes between after and before the implementation strategy of critical incident (important experience) in Education subject Islamic Religion in SMPN 1 Tewang Sangalang Garing Katingan Regency, 3) Differences in learning outcomes after and before the implementation strategy of critical incident (important experience) in Islamic Religious Education subject at SMPN 1 Tewang Sangalang Garing Katingan Regency.
This study used quantitative research. The subjects of this study were students at class VIII of SMPN 1 Tewang Sangalang Garing, Katingan district. The total students were 17 people. The instruments used in this study: 1) the researcher observation sheet, 2) the student observation sheet, and 2) the learning achievement test. The data analysis technique used quantitative analysis techniques which are processed using statistics and qualitative data.
The results showed that: 1) The application strategy of critical incident learning (important experience) was in the good category, because the researcher carried out the management of learning in accordance with the specified steps. 2) Learning outcomes before and after the implementation strategy of critical incident (important experience), seen from the average pretest score of 62.11 to 91.29 posttest value, an increase of 29.18% from the average value of the pretest and posttest. 3) Based on the results of the hypothesis test during the pretest and posttest results obtained T-count (35.42) ≥ T-table (2.583). based on this, there were differences in learning outcomes before and after the implementation strategy of critical incident (important experience).
