Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran IPA terpadu di MTs An-Nur Palangka Raya. Dapat diketahui bahwa motivasi peserta didik rendah dan berdampak pada prestasi belajar kognitif peserta didik rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap motivasi peserta didik, mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik, mendeskripsikan motivasi peserta didik, mendeskripsikan prestasi belajar peserta didik selama pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran project based learning pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia kelas VIII MTs An-Nur Palangka Raya.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design, subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik MTs An-Nur kelas VIII dengan jumlah peserta didik pada kelas A sebanyak 20 peserta didik dan kelas B sebanyak 20 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket peserta didik untuk mengukur motivasi peserta didik dan soal objektif untuk mengukur kemampuan kognitif peserta didik. Analisis data menggunakan Uji t.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik, hal ini dibuktikan dengan rata-rata pada kelas eksperimen 3,31 dengan kategori sangat baik dan kelas kontrol 2,57 dengan kategori baik ; 2). Berdasarkan analisis uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning dimana thitung>ttabel yaitu 219>202 sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima; 3). Peningkatan terhadap motivasi peserta didik kelas VIII MTs An-Nur Palangka Raya ditandai dengan hasil analisis angket yang diberikan kepada peserta didik yaitu dengan hasil rata-rata 3,31 sehingga berkriteria sangat baik; 4). Peningkatan terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik sebelum diberikan perlakuan model pembelajaran project based learning berdasarkan perhitungan N-Gain menunjukkan kisaran 0,68 sehingga dapat dikatakan pemahaman peserta didik berkategori sedang. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap motivasi dan prestasi belajar peserta didik materi sistem peredaran darah manusia kelas VIII MTs An-Nur Palangka Raya.

ABSTRACT

This research is motivated by the lack of involvement of students in the implementation of integrated science learning activities in MTs An-Nur Palangka Raya. It can be seen that the motivation of students is low and the impact on students' cognitive learning achievement is low.
This study aims to determine the effect of project based learning model learning on student motivation, determine the effect of project based learning model learning on student achievement, describe student motivation, describe students' learning achievement during learning with project based learning learning models on system material circulation of human blood class VIII MTs An-Nur Palangka Raya.
This study uses a quantitative approach to the Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design, research subjects are MTs An-Nur students in class VIII with 20 students in class A and 20 students in class B. Data collection techniques use students' questionnaires to measure students' motivation and objective questions to measure students' cognitive abilities. Data analysis using t .
The research showed that: 1) There was an effect of the project based learning model on students' learning motivation, this was evidenced by the average in the experimental class 3.31 with a very good category and a control class of 2.57 with a good category; 2).Based on the analysis of the hypothesis test shows that there is an effect of project based learning model where tcount> ttable is 219> 202 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted; 3). An increase in the motivation of students of class VIII MTs An-Nur Palangka Raya is marked by the results of a questionnaire analysis given to students that is with an average yield of 3.31 so that it has very good criteria; 4). Improvement of students 'learning achievement before being given the treatment of the project based learning model based on N-Gain calculations shows a range of 0.68 so it can be said that students' understanding is of medium category. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the project based learning model of learning on the motivation and learning achievement of students of the VIII MTs An-Nur Palangka Raya class of human blood circulation system.
