Abstract
Orang tua di rumah tangga memiliki tanggung jawab yang besar untuk mendidik agama pada anak-anaknya. Akan tetapi tidak mudah bagi orang tua yang bersetatus sebagai mualaf, untuk mendidik agama pada anak. Orang tua mualaf memilik tanggung jawab yang sama untuk membimbing keluarganya sesuai dengan tuntutan agama Islam. Rumusasan masalah penelitian ini yaitu, bagaimana persepsi Orang tua Mualaf tentang pendidikan agama Islam Pada anak, Bagaimana Pelaksanaan Pendidikan Agama Islam Pada keluarga mualaf dan apa saja problem pendidikan agama Islam pada keluarga mualaf. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi orang tua mualaf dalam mendidik agama pada anak, mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pendidikan agama pada keluarga mualaf dan problem apa yang di hadapi orang tua mualaf dalam mendidik anak, di Kelurahan Bukit Tunggal Kecamatan Jekan Raya .
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi kemudian data dianalisis yakni melalui langkah-langkah reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 4 orang tua mualaf yang memiliki anak usia minimal 4 tahun yang tinggal di Kelurahan Bukit Tunggal Kecamatan Jekan Raya.
Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1). Persepsi orang tua mualaf dalam pendidikan anak di Kelurahan Bukit Tunggal Kecamatan Jekan Raya dari ke 4 subjek penelitian LS, TR,SL dan SR menyadari pentingnya pendidikan agama pada anaknya. 2). Pelaksanan pendidikan agama pada keluarga mualaf di kelurahan Bukit Tunggal yaitu mengajarkan anaknya dengan ilmu yang mereka miliki, mendatangkan guru mengaji ke rumah, mengajikan anak-anak ke TKA/TPA, serta menyekolahkan anak ke sekolah yang berbasis Islam. 3). Probelm orang tua mualaf dalam mendidik agama anak di kelurahan bukit tunggal kecamatan jekan raya yaitu kurangnya waktu berkumpul dengan anak,pendidikan orang tua yang rendah, dan ekonomi yang berada pada tingkatan menengah ke bawah.
ABSTRACT
Parents in the household had a great responsibility to educate their children about religion. However, it was not easy for parents who had mualaf status to educate their children about religion. Mualaf Parents had the same responsibility to guide their family according to the rules of Islamic religion. The research problems were; how is the perception of Mualaf Parents about Islamic religion education for their children, how is the implementation of Islamic education at Mualaf families and what are the problems of Islamic education at Mualaf families. The purposes of this research were; to describe the perception of Mualaf parents about Islamic Education for their children, describe the implementation of Islamic education at Mualaf families and the problems faced by Mualaf parents in educating their children in the Bukit Tunggal Village, Jekan Raya District.
This research used descriptive method. Data Collection techniques used were; observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed by several steps, namely; reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. The subjects of this research were 4 Mualaf parents who had children (minimally 4 years old). They lived in Bukit Tunggal Village, Jekan Raya District.
The results of this research were; 1) the perception of Mualaf parents in the Bukit Tunggal Village, Jekan Raya District was “they realized that the islamic education for their children was important. That perception was obtained from 4 research subjects who had initial LS, TR, SL, and SR. 2) the implementations of Islamic education at Mualaf families in the Bukit Tunggal village were; to teach their children about Islamic education, to invite teachers who guiding their families, to support their children joining the Al-Qur’an education schools, and send their children to Islamic school. 3) The problems of Mualaf parents to guide their children in the Bukit Tunggal Village, Jekan Raya District were; the children had limited time, the lower education of parents, and they were from lower middle economic class.
