Abstract

ABSTRAK

Ikan mempunyai peranan penting dalam menunjang kehidupan manusia, baik untuk konsumsi maupun bahan baku obat-obatan. Danau Bengaris merupakan danau yang di aliri air yang berasal dari Sungai Kahayan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis - jenis ikan yang tertangkap di Danau Bengaris Daerah Aliran Sungai Kahayan Kelurahan Tanjung Pinang Kecamatan Pahandut kota Palangka Raya dan untuk mengetahui kualitas air di Danau Bengaris Daerah Aliran Sungai Kahayan Kelurahan Tanjung Pinang Kecamatan Pahandut Kota Palangka Raya. Jenis penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survei atau observasi langsung kelapangan.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ada 10 jenis ikan yang tertangkap yaitu terdiri dari 3 ordo dan 6 famili. Famili Anabantidae 5 jenis yaitu Trichogaster pectoralis, Trichogaster trichopterus, Anabas Testudineus, Belontia hasselti, dan Helostoma temmincki. Famili Ophiocephalidae ada 1 jenis yaitu Ophiocephalus striatus. Famili Clariidae ada 1 jenis yaitu Clarias meladerma, Famili Bagridae ada 1 jenis yaitu Macrones Nemurus. Famili Siluridae ada 1 jenis yaitu Cryptopterus macrocephalus dan Famili Synbrancidhae ada 1 jenis yaitu Monopterus albus. Kualitas air yang di ukur di Danau Bengaris Daerah Aliran Sungai Kahayan Kelurahan Tanjung Pinang Kecamatan Pahandut Kota Palangka Raya adalah suhu, pH, kecerahan, dan kecepatan arus. Nilai suhu air rata - rata adalah 290 C - 31,60 C. Nilai pH air rata - rata adalah 5. Nilai kecerahan air rata - rata adalah 39 cm - 44,6 cm. Nilai suhu kecepatan arus rata - rata adalah 1 menit 4 detik/m – 1 menit 6 detik/m. Jadi, kualitas air yang meliputi suhu, pH, kecerahan, dan kecepatan arus di Danau Bengaris Daerah Aliran Sungai Kahayan Kelurahan Tanjung Pinang Kecamatan Pahandut Kota Palangka Raya cukup mendukung untuk kelangsungan hidup ikan.

Fish have an important role to human’s life, whether for consumption or even as the base of medicine. Bangaris lake is a lake which is flowed by water that comes from Kahayan river. This research was aimed to know fish spesies that caught in Bangaris Lake Kahayan Stream Flows at Tanjung Pinang sub district of Pahandut district Palangka Raya and to know the quality of water in Bangaris Lake Kahayan Stream Flows at Tanjung Pinang sub district of Pahandut district Palangka Raya. This study was a descriptive qualitative research. The method was used survey and field observation methods.

Based on the result of study showed there were 10 fish spesies that caught which consisted of 3 orders and 6 families. Anabantidae Family was 5 spesies. There were Trichogaster pectoralis, Trichogaster tricopterus, Anabas Testudineus, Belontia hasselti and Helostoma temmincki. Ophiocephalidae Family was 1 spesies, namely Ophiocephalus striatus. Clariidae Family was 1 spesies, namely Clarias meladerma. Bagridae Family was 1 spesies, namely Macrones nemurus. Siluridae Family was 1 spesies, namely Cryptopterus macrocephalus and Synbrancidhae Family was 1 spesies, namely Monopterus albus. The quality of water that is measured in Bangaris Lake Kahayan Stream Flows at Tanjung Pinang sub district of Pahandut district Palangka Raya which included temperature, pH, clarity and speed of stream flow. The temperatur of water value was 290 C - 31,60 C average. The pH of water was 5 average. The clarity of water was 39 cm – 44,6 cm average. Speed of stream flow was 1 minute 4 seconds/m - 1 minute 6 seconds/m average. In conclusion, water quality which included temperatur, pH, clarity and speed of stream flow in Bangaris lake Kahayan Stream Flows at Tanjung Pinang sub district of Pahandut district Palangka Raya was enough to support the habitat of its fish.
