Abstract

Tradisi Praktik Perhitungan Bilangan Bajau merupakan tradisi Kalimantan Selatan dalam penentuan calon pasangan suami istri, masyarakat suku Banjar menggunakan praktik perhitungan bajau dengan cara mendatangi orang yang mengerti tentang perhitungan bilangan bajau.
Penelitian ini memiliki tiga rumusan masalah yakni: (1) Apa yang melatarbelakangi masyarakat desa Palingkau melakukan perhitungan bilangan bajau dalam penentuan calon suami istri?, (2) Bagaimana praktik perhitungan bilangan bajau dalam penentuan calon suami istri?, dan (3) Bagaimana tinjauan hukum Islam terhadap perhitungan bilangan bajau dalam penentuan calon suami istri?. Tujuan penelitian yakni: (1) Untuk mendeskripsikan latar belakang masyarakat melakukan perhitungan bilangan bajau dalam penentuan calon suami istri (2) Untuk mendeskripsikan praktik perhitungan bilangan bajau dalam penentuan calon suami istri dan (3) Untuk mendeskripsikan praktek perhitungan bilangan bajau dalam penentuan calon suami istri menurut perspektik hukum Islam.
Penelitian ini bertempat di Desa Palingkau Kecamatan Tatas Kabupaten Kapuas dengan subjek penelitian 3 (Tiga) Orang di Desa Palingkau, objek penelitian ini ialah tradisi Praktik perhitungan bilangan bajau dalam penentuan calon pasangan suami istri. Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian lapangan atau penelitian empiris dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan Analisis data menggunakan metode Data Collection (Pengumpulan Data), Data Reduction (Pengurangan Data), Data Display (Penyajian Data), Data Conclousions Drawing/Verif ying (penarikan kesimpulan).
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Latar belakang Tradisi Praktik perhitungan bilangan bajau ini adalah sebagai salah satu cara masyarakat berikhtiar dalam memilih calon pasangan suami istri yang terbaik, (2) Cara perhitungan bilangan bajau ialah menghitung nama calon laki-laki dan perempuannya lalu ditambah dan dari hasil itu kita dapat mengetahui calon pasangan ini cocok atau tidak (3) Tradisi Praktik perhitungan bilangan bajau termasuk tradisi yang tidak baik karena melanggar ketentuan yang sudah di tetapkan Allah, sehingga tidak boleh untuk dilakukan dalam penentuan calon pasangan suami istri. Karena berdasarkan hadits sudah jelas Allah melarang kita untuk pergi ke peramal untuk menanyakan sesuatu.

ABSTRACT

The tradition of the practice of the calculation of the number of the Bajau is a tradition in South Kalimantan in the determination of the prospective spouses, Banjar people community using the practice of calculation of bajau with a way go to people who understand about the calculation of the number of the bajau.
This research has three formula problem namely: (1) what's behind their village community Palingkau do perhitungan number of bajau in the determination of the prospective husband and wife ?, (2) How the practice calculation of the number of the bajau in the determination of the prospective husband and wife?, and (3) overview of How Islamic law against perhitungan number of bajau in the determination of the prospective husband and wife ?. Research objectives: (1) to describe the background of community practice calculation bajau in the determination of the prospective husband and wife which happened in the village of Palingkau sub-district of Kapuas Regency Tatas, (2) to describe the practice of calculation of the number of the bajau in the determination of the prospective husband and wife which happened in the village of Palingkau sub-district of Tatas Regency Kapuas, and (3) to describe the practice of calculation of the number of the bajau in the determination of future husband and wife going didesa Palingkau Sub perspektik Kabuaten Kapuas Tatas according to Islamic law.
This research is set in the village of Palingkau sub-district of Kapuas Regency Tatas with the subject i.e. 3 (Three) people who understand about the practice of calculation bajau diDesa Palingkau and object of this research is the tradition of the bajau Practice calculation in determining the prospective spouses. This type of research is a field research or empirical research using qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques in the study is using interviews, observation and documentation. While data analysis using the method of Data Collection (Data collection), Data Reduction (reduction of Data), Data Display (Presenting Data), Conclousions Data Drawing/Verif ying (withdrawal conclusion).
The results of this study are: (1) background of the bajau Practice Tradition this is the calculation as one way the community will seek in selecting prospective spouses the best, (2) the method of calculating the number of bajau is counting the name of the candidate of his men and then plus and from the results that we can know the potential mate is suitable or not (3) Traditions Practice calculation bajau including tradition which is not good because it violates the provisions of the set God, so it should not be done in the determination of the prospective spouses. Because based on the Hadith is obvious God forbid us to go to soothsayers to ask something.
