Abstract
Ma’had al-jamiah merupakan pendidikan nonformal yang mempunyai visi “menjadi wadah pembinaan aqidah, penguatan ilmu-ilmu keislaman, pembentukan jiwa berkarakter, kreatif dan terampil berbahasa asing” melalui berbagai peraturan dan kegiatan tertentu. Dalam rangka mewujudkan visi Ma’had Al-Jami’ah IAIN Palangka Raya maka diperlukan upaya dari UPT Ma’had Al-Jami’ah IAIN Palangka Raya berupa program dan pelaksanaan kegiatan terhadap mahasiswanya.
Rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini: 1) Apa Program Kegiatan di Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Putri IAIN Palangka Raya? 2) Bagaimana Pelaksanaan Kegiatan Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Putri IAIN Palangka Raya? 3) Apa Faktor-Faktor yang Mendukung dan Menghambat Pelaksanaan Program Kegiatan di Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Putri IAIN Palangka Raya?
Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang dilakukan di Ma’had Al-Jami’ah IAIN Putri Palangka Raya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Kemudian diabsahkan dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah musyrifah ma’had al-jami’ah IAIN Palangka Raya.
Hasil penelitiannya adalah: 1) Program Kegiatan di Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Putri IAIN Palangka Raya mencakup kegiatan Intensive Course, Vocabulary Building, Language Perform Night (LPN), Daily Journal, Shalat Berjamaah, Bimbingan Membaca Qur’an (BMQ), Bimbingaan Moral dan Akhlak (BMA), Kajian Fiqih Nisa’, Kajian Tafsir Al-Qur’an,Tadarus Al-Qur’an, Khatmul Qur’an, Mabit, Wirdul Lathief, Kajian Islam Kontemporer, Fun Vocabulary Day, Qiyamullail, Puasa Sunnah, Olah Raga, Operasi Semut, dan Kerja Bakti. 2) Pelaksanaan Kegiatan Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Putri IAIN Palangka Raya hampir semua kegiatan yang diprogramkan terlaksana, namun mengenai kualitasnya masih rendah dan tidak semua mahasiswa mengikutinya. Program kegiatan yang terlaksana yakni Intensive Course, Vocabulary Building, Language Perform Night (LPN), Shalat Berjamaah, Bimbingan Membaca Qur’an (BMQ), Bimbingaan Moral dan Akhlak (BMA), Kajian Fiqih Nisa’, Tadarus Al-Qur’an, Khatmul Qur’an, Mabit, Wirdul Lathief, Fun Vocabulary Day, Puasa Sunnah, Olah Raga, Operasi Semut, dan Kerja Bakti. Sedangkan yang tidak terlaksana meliputi Daily Journal, Kajian Tafsir Al-Qur’an, Kajian Islam Kontemporer, dan Qiyamullail. 3) Faktor-faktor yang mendukung kegiatan di ma’had yakni dukungan dari pihak kampus, keterlibatan Pembina dan musyrifah, buku pegangan, kegiatan terjadwal dan terkoordinir, serta tersedianya beberapa sarana dan prasarana. Sedangkan yang menghambat yakni rendahnya kesadaran dan motivasi dari diri mahasiswa untuk mengikuti kegiatan, lemahnya kemampuan bahasa asing musyrifah, cuaca yang terkadang kurang mendukung, serta jadwal yang berbentrokan dengan kegiatan lain. Hal tersebut juga dapat dipengaruhi insting (naluri) ketuhanan mahasiswa, adat atau kebiasaannya, dan pengaruh lingkungan pergaulan sesama teman.
ABSTRACT
Ma’had Al-Jami’ah is non-formal education of belief guidance, Islamic knowledge reinforcement, characterizing soul, creative, and competent in learning foreign language for the freshmen and women of students IAIN Palangka Raya. This place tries to create characterizing students through applying the regulation and certain activities. In order to reach it, it is necessary to conduct a program of character building toward the students. The program was conducted by UPT Ma’had Al-Jami’ah IAIN Palangka Raya.
The research problems were formulated, namely 1)What kinds of the program in Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Putri IAIN Palangka Raya. 2) How are the programs conducted in Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Putri IAIN Palangka Raya. 3) What are the supporting and obstacle factors of the programs in Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Putri IAIN Palangka Raya.
The study was aimed to describe: 1) Programs of education character toward the students in Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Putri IAIN Palangka Raya. 2)The implementation of education character programs. 3) The supporting and obstacle factors in conducting the programs of education characters towards the students in Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Putri IAIN Palangka Raya.
This study was belonged to descriptive-qualitative and it was conducted at Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Putri IAIN Palangka Raya. The data collecting techniques used was observation, interview, and documentation. Then it was validated by using triangulation.
The result findings showed that: 1) the programs of education character in Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Putri IAIN Palangka Raya are Intensive Course, Vocabulary Building, Language Perform Night, Prayers in congregation,reciting Al-Qur an guidance, morality and character guidance, women’ regulation of Islam course, reciting Al-Qur an events, finishing Al-Qur an recitation, faith guidance, Wirdul Lathiel, Islamic contemporary course, , Fun Vocabulary Day, Qiyamullail, sunnah of fasting, sporting, and community service. 2) the implementation of the programs whereas almost all of the programs were conducted, but the quality and the quantity were still in low, and not all of the students participated the programs. 3) the supporting factors of the programs that there were support of the campus, recruitment of musyrifah, guidance book, scheduled events, and facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the the obstacles were less awareness and self-motivation of the students in participating the events, the skill of foreign language mastery that still low, the weathers, and the schedules that clash with other activities. This was also influenced by divinity instinct of students, customes or habits, and the environment of making frineds among the students.
