Abstract

Kepemimpinan kepala PAUD merupakan penentu keberhasilan dari lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini. Kepala PAUD dalam memimpin dapat memahami dan menyadari beradaan sekolah sebagai lembaga yang kompleks serta mampu melaksanakan peran dan tanggung jawab mewujudkan visi, misi dan tujuan lembaga. Hal ini terkait dengan peningkatan profesionalisme dan kompetensi guru serta mutu layanan . Kepala PAUD senantiasa mampu memberikan bimbingan, dorongan, arahan, keteladanan serta pengawasan kepada guru-guru dan juga staf PAUD sehingga seluruh kegiatan di lembaga pendidikan dapat berjalan sesuai dengan prosedur dan tujuan yang digariskan.
Bentuk Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analisis, yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menggambar kondisi apa adanya. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian lapangan (field research), yaitu penelitian dilakukan dengan mengamati serta meneliti gejala-gejala dan peristiwa, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknis analisis datanya menggunakan versi Miles dan Huberman yaitu; (1) reduksi data (2) display data (3) penerikan kesimpulan.
Adapun temuan hasil penelitian kepala PAUD adalah: Kepala PAUD Islam Terpadu Al Ghazali Modern School miliki tipe kepemimpinan demokratis dan Kepala PAUD sangat berperan sebagai educator, manajer, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator dan motivator.

ABSTRACT

Leadership of Kindergarten school is a determinant of the success of early childhood education institutions. Head master could understand and realize the school as a complex institution and able to carry out the roles and responsibilities to realize the vision, mission and goals of the institution. This is related to the increased professionalism and competence of teachers and the quality of service. Kindergarten head master is always able to provide guidance, encouragement, direction, exemplary and supervision to teachers and also kindergarten staff so that all activities in early childhood education institutions could increase procedurally and objectively.
This research was descriptive analysis. The aim of the research was to draw the real condition. This research included on field research, it was done by observing, and analyzing the symptoms and events. The data collections used were observation, interview, and documentation. While technical data analysis (Miles and Huberman) were (1) data reduction (2) data display (3) the conclusion.
The result of the research were; the head of AL Ghazali Islamic Kindergarten Integrated Modern school has the democratic leadership type, and the head of Kindergarten acted as roles; educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator and motivator.
