Abstract

Toleransi beragama merupakan sikap saling menghargai, menghormati, dan bekerja sama antar semua civitas dalam kehidupan sehari-sehari dalam rangka mewujudkan persatuan dan kesatuan di lingkungan SMPN 1 Tewah. Dalam menerapkan budaya toleransi beragama di sekolah perlu ada kebijakan berupa dukungan dari kepala sekolah dan peran guru pendidikan agama islam. Dengan demikian penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi budaya toleransi beragama melalui pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam berbasis multikultural di Sekolah Menengah Pertama 1 Tewah.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Objek Penelitian adalah Implementasi Budaya Toleransi Beragama Melalui Pendidikan Agama Islam Berbasis Multikultural di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Tewah.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Adapun informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru-guru agama dan peserta didik.
Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut ; (1) Implementasi Toleransi Beragama melalui Pendidikan Agama Islam Berbasis Multikultural di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Tewah, telah di terapkan dengan menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai saling menghargai, saling menghormati dan saling kerjasama demi mewujudkan rasa persatuan dan kesatuan antar umat beragama di lingkungan sekolah. Penanaman dan penerapan toleransi beragama kepada peserta didik merupakan peran guru melalui proses pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam. (2) Kebijakan Implementasi Budaya Toleransi Beragama melalui Pembelajaran PAI berbasis Multikultural di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Tewah adalah kebijakan dari kepala sekolah berupa dukungan dan motivasi dalam setiap kegiatan keagamaan yang di selenggarakan di sekolah. Dukungan dan motivasi kepala sekolah juga menyediakan berbagai sarana dan prasarana pendukung kegiatan keagamaan seperti ruangan, guru-guru agama dan buku pelajaran agama yang dianut peserta didik di lingkungan SMPN 1 Tewah.

ABSTRACT

Religious tolerance is an attitude of mutual respect, respect, and cooperation among all civitas in everyday life in order to realize unity and unity in the environment SMPN 1 Tewah. In implementing a culture of religious tolerance in schools there needs to be a policy of support from the principal and the role of Islamic religious education teachers. Thus, this study aims to analyze the implementation of religious tolerance culture through the learning of Islamic education based on multicultural in 1 Tewah Junior High School.
The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. Research Object is the Implementation of Cultural Religious Tolerance through Islamic-Based Multicultural Education at Junior High School Negeri 1 Tewah. Data collection is done by observation, interview, and documentation. The informants in this study consist of principals, vice principals, religious teachers and learners.
Based on the data obtained can be summarized as follows; (1) Implementation of Religious Tolerance through Multicultural Education Based on Multicultural Education at Junior High School 1 Tewah, has been applied by upholding values of mutual respect, mutual respect and mutual cooperation in order to realize a sense of unity and unity among religious communities in the school environment. The planting and application of religious tolerance to learners is the role of teachers through the process of learning Islamic religious education. (2) Policy on Cultural Implementation of Religious Tolerance through Multicultural-Based PAI Learning at State Junior High School 1 Tewah is the policy of the principal in the form of support and motivation in every religious activity held in school. Support and motivation of the principal also provides various facilities and infrastructure supporting religious activities such as rooms, religious teachers and religious textbooks adhered to learners in the environment SMPN 1 Tewah.
