Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan faktor yang sangat penting dalam rangka menciptakan dan meningkatkan sumberdaya manusia yang berkualitas karena melalui pendidikan yang baik dan tepat akan melahirkan generasi penerus bangsa yang siap dalam menghadapi tantangan yang bagaimanapun terutama menghadapi era globalilasi. Pendidikan karakter anak perlu diupayakan secara sungguh-sungguh yakni dengan pola implementasi pendidikan karakter. Implementasi pendidikan karakter di madrasah sangat berdampak pada pencapaian misi pendidikan yakni dalam rangka membentuk siswa yang berkarakter. Fokus penelitian ini adalah meliputi: Implementasi dan Faktor Pendukung, Penghambat Implementasi Pendidikan Karakter di MI Al-Anwar Pangkalan Banteng Kotawaringin Barat.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah kepala madrasah (sebagai key informan), wakil kepala madrasah, tenaga pendidik, tenaga kependidikan, ustad/ustadzah, komite, wali murid (sebagai informan). Adapun teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian dilakukan melalui langkah-langkah : (1) mengumpulkan data, (2) mereduksi data, (3) penyajian data, (4) penarikan kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di MI Al-Anwar Pangkalan Banteng terlaksana melalui; (a) pengintegrasian nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada KBM; (b) kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter; (c) keseharian/pembiasaan yang tercipta melalui budaya madrasah; dan (2) faktor pendukungnya adalah komunikasi, kerja sama kepala madrasah dan guru, sosialisasi dewan madrasah dengan masyarakat dan fasilitator. Faktor penghambatnya adalah pengaruh lingkungan, komunikasi antara pihak madrasah dengan orang tua, rendahnya kesadaran peserta didik, terbatasnya sumber dana dan kurangnya pengawasan.

ABSTRACT

Education is an essential factor on creating and empowering human resources. Because through good exact education could produce the next generation who are ready to face the challenge especially on globalization era. Children character education needs to be pursued assuredly with the pattern of character education implementation. Character education implementation in Madrasah greatly affects the education mission in order to build characterized students. The focus of this research is : implementing, supporting factors and impeding the implementation of character education in MI Al-Anwar Pangkalan Banteng, West Kotawaringn.
This research used descritive qualitative methode. The data sources of this research were the head master (as key of informant), vice head of madrasah, teacher, staff, ustad/ustadzah, school committee, and student guardian (as informant). The data technique was through observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis technique were done through steps: (1) collecting data, (2) reducing data, (3) presenting data, (4) drawing conclution.
The results of the research shows that : (1) implementation character education in MI Al-Anwar Pangkalan Banteng was be done by : (a) integration through subjects, character education values are inserted to syllabus and lesson plan (RPP), (b) extra curricular activities that reflect the value of character education, (c) daily or habitual created through madrasah culture and (2) the supporting factor is communication, madrasah head and teacher cooperation, socialization of madrasah councils with communities and facilitator. The inhibiting factor is the environmental influence, communication between the madrasah with the parents, low awareness of learners, limited sources of funding and lack of supervision.
